Why make a big deal about such a small issue?  I also saw the post before it was edited and it could very easily be taken to mean something very inappropriate for the environment that we seek to maintain at the Collector Zone.

So, it was removed and I'll also ask that such comments (even if "inside jokes") be left for other places and times.

I dont think its a big deal. I was making that reply towards Batman as a joke, which I now see are prohibited here. He should of just did the edit and left it without replying to it. If a reply was needed, do it over a pm, not where people can see it and most likely will respond. Anyway, like I said its not a big deal so its over.

Actually, many of our members are quite humorous. We just ask them to refrain from certain types of humor and jokes - such as ones that could easily be viewed as an implied sexual reference.

Absolutely nothing got "blown out of proportion." No one got suspended, no one got banned. All I did was edit a post and ask that it not be done again on TCC. I then sent a PM to batman1641 explaining my reasoning, then made a post on this thread doing the same so that others would know why I edited the post.

All of that seems very reasonable to me and in no way blows anything out of proportion. That kind of comment is going to be interpreted the way I interpreted it 95% of the time, so it has no place here at TCC. I don't care if it's an inside joke among friends or not. I have plenty of inappropriate jokes with my friends, but I do not post them here at TCC.

I didn't make a big deal out of your nickname. I didn't make a big deal out of anything. I did edit a very inappropriate comment they made in reference to your nickname, but I did not say anything about the actual nickname itself. Joke or not, sexual innuendos will not be used on TCC, period.
