My family has a tradition of passing down thier previous cards. Well when I was about 10 years old my father decided to give me all of his baseball cards. These were great antiques. Well i really got interested and I decided to collect football cards. Those football cards inspired me to play football myself and to be just like those successful athletes. Football cards is really what got me into sports. In fact, when i was 11 i pulled my first jersey card. Yeah i know took a while but it was probably the happiest moment in my card collecting life. Well my father had never seen such a card with a jerey or a logo or anything like that. So he became interested in collecting cards again. Then all of my brothers collect. And now almost all of my friends and family collect sports trading crds. They were all inspired by me just as i was inspired by my past generations. It has also brought me and my father closer together to have a little father and son time. I love oppening boxes of cards with him because he get excited with every little card he pulls. And I think wow, he has not a worry in the world.I would be pretty upset if i didn't get anything.
I love collecting cards because it brings me and my family together, and it inspires me to keep on playing sports and to dream of becoming a pro athelete and to some day have my very own card.
