Ok I thought this would be a fun little idea. Not sure if you guys agree but here it goes.
I was thinking of doing a draft style trade for baseball cards. Basically heres the deal. There will be 20 spots available. Each person that has one of the spots has to send me a auto or game used baseball card with the BV of $20 (give or take a couple bucks) along with $1 for shipping (we'll get to this later). Then once I receive all 20 cards. I will scan them and have them linked up to a thread. All 20 spots will go on random.org and that will give us the draft order. Then, one by one when that person's slot is up they get to pick the card they want (if its still on the board) and then I will ship it out to them (that's why your sending me $1 w/ your card, I'll eat the rest of the shipping).
Anyways, I know it may sound a little stupid, and your probably asking why do I have to send all the cards to you, but I figure this way it'll be a little more organized. And besides I'm totally bored and this will be kinda cool, because your draft position determines the card you want (and I'm sure some of you might want to trade spots,etc.)
RULES:
1. I won't do the draft until I receive all 20 (19, since I will have one) cards.
2. I will pick a draft date/time a few days in advance, and the draft won't continue until everyone picks there specific slot, no spot skipping if the guy is unavailable.
3. Card MUST be of a star and in good shape. BV CANNOT be less than $15-greater than $25.
4. You don't have to post a scan of the card your going to send me UNTIL this thing fills, so don't worry about doing it not. But you must before you send it off to me, just so the guys in here agree that the card isn't a dud your just throwing in.
OK guys, not sure if this is gonna go well but anyways, I'll take the first slot. If you want in just post in here. And if you have any suggestion, feel free to LMK!
