$26 dollars a person for box(es) that run $325? If you sell 25 spots at $26 bucks that's $650 dollars! Paypal, Shipping, Supplies and DC do not run $300 dollars plus.

Where's the extra cash going? Just curious.

I seriously disagree with the notion that a teacher is supposed to always encourage students to "follow their dreams."  Some students are just not talented in the areas they think they are talented in.  I call this the "American Idol" phenomenon.  There are many many people out there that have been told by their parents, teachers and friends that they are "good" at something they truly are not good at, because those parents, teachers, and friends didn't have the gumption to be honest with the person and tell them the truth.  We see these people on Idol all the time. They REALLY think they are good singers, but any casual observer would be able to tell them differently.  However, in the interest of not discouraging their son/daughter, friend, or student, they have family members, teachers and friends who continue to mislead them, which ultimately will lead to more frustration and heart ache in the end.

A good teacher identifies the strengths and weaknesses of his/her students and encourages them to play to their strengths and not waste time dreaming about their weaknesses.  Perhaps your teacher was trying to do this.  If what you're saying is true, she definitely could have chosen a better way of discussing it with you, but she may very well be spot on in assessing your ability to be a journalist.

I firmly believe that everyone has an ability to succeed, but not everyone has the ability to succeed in everything or anything they want to be.  I was never going to be able to play NBA basketball, no matter how much I dreamed and dreamed about it.  I was not fast enough and not tall enough.  No matter how much I worked and worked, that dream would not come true.  I just wasn't made to do that. (And if anyone wants to talk about Spud Webb, notice I said fast enough as well).  But I was made to do other things, and I've been very successful in those.  But, where do you think I'd be today if the only thing I had ever tried to be was an NBA Basketball player, and regardless of how little ability I had at playing basketball everyone had always told me I was great, when really they knew I wasn't?

me and krista aren't all that "enthusiastic" about sweet shot, so would it be possible to maybe, if you guys don't mind, drop a tin or two and throw something else in there?? if it comes out in time, how about the 08/09 SPX?? its got five hits, so that would be a fair trade off... or even get rid of the white death!!! AKA SPA, its only got 3 autos for a hundred dollars... if we wanna get more hits and less base, why not get something else? cuz i know we've got a bit or SPA so far... like if we dropped a tin of sweetshot and the SPA, we could throw in something like 08/09 BD and Artifacts, or another box of 08/09 Trilogy??
