Here's the thread for the July 2009 OFFICIAL TCC Baseball Group Box Break.

Here is a list of teams and the members who held them in the June break.
I will make adjustments to this list if teams change, and as people verify with me that they want to be in the July break, and as they pay for their teams.

Those who participated last month have first dibs at renewing their team purchase or choosing another team. So, if you participated in the June break, let me know what you would like to do.

Here are the rules:

Cost: $30--this covers the cost of the boxes and the shipping and supply costs.

The boxes we break will depend on member input and how much money we get. The more members, the more money, the more boxes (or the more higher end the boxes can be).

You can buy as many teams as you want, the first is $30 and each additional team is $25.

How the remaining teams will be distributed will depend on the number of teams left. Once that is determined we can discuss again how those teams will be distributed. Generally we just random off cards from those teams.

Here are some "decision rules," so there is no confusion.

If a card features more than one player from different teams, then there will be a random drawing between the owners of the teams featured on the card. The owner who is chosen by the random drawing will receive the card.

If a card features a player in a different jersey than the team labels on the card, the card will go to the team of the jersey the player is in.

Game used and auto cards from teams who are not chosen during a particular month will be randomly awarded amongst all members of the break.

If a card features a player in a college uniform, it will be awarded to the team the player was drafted by.

If a card features a player in a minor league uniform, it will go to the team that the minor league club is an affiliate of.

The rest of the cards that are from teams who are not chosen during a particular month will be randomly distributed amongst all participants in the break.

Shawn told me he could get me tins of 2003 Donruss Signature for $50 a piece.

Each comes with an auto, and there are some goodies in there. I just sold a Hideo Nomo for $1000.00.

If we have enough members we could do like 10 of those and then something else.

I would definitely be up for 09 Allen and Ginter. We should try to infuse some new products so people can get new base cards for their teams.

Sorry for the late post. I am back in with the Red Sox, Dbacks and I will drop the Dodgers and pick up the Mets. If someone is eyeing the Mets they can have them, I just wanted to mix up my collection a little. I will pay today.

I'm going to drop the Reds and Royals, but would like to pick up the Dodgers if there's no one else on the waiting list. If the Dodgers are being held for somebody, I'll just keep the Reds.

I 2nd ginter...I always like the see what come out of it every year. Icons sounds nice as well. Would like to see a box of HOFers if we can get one that has some nice hits....like Prime Cuts. If we don't have alot of ppl to join in A high end HOFer box is out.
