tcc facebook you should advertise the group breaks your trying to fill plus any contest leave the links for them to see

I thought about it, but didnt want to be accused of abuse of FB to fill breaks No, seiriously, I will be posting them soon. I just havent had time to get it up and running yet. So much to do, dont know where to start

I posted a link to tcc on several of the fb card sites I sell on.  missed the rules on one of the slower sites I was on and they banned me.  LOL.

Every time I do a break I mention TCC several times. They can stop me from posting the link, but cant stop me from posting my videos

When any of us try to promote the website by sharing our web address we gotta make sure we direct them to our forum page, not the home page.

Even though there are plenty of hobby forums out there in cyber space there are still countless collectors and show dealers who don't know about them. As a card show promoter I am always looking for ways to spread word about my show.

Here are a few ideas we all could do:

1. For us eBay sellers, we could write the web address on a piece of paper or on a decoy to the buyer (this idea was mentioned before)

2. We could contact local card show promoters if we could put a flyer out at the shows that advertise any contest or breaks currently running on TCC. I can do this at my show as well.

3. Craigslist. Though I believe it's prohibited to redirect a potential buyer off-site but I'm sure if you are creative enough we could find a way around it. For example, Post a listing such as "$25 for card X" someone replies via email that their interested in card x and then reply back with your profile page to show that you are trustworthy. There they can view your transactions and possibly browse what's else is on TCC.

4. Facebook. We need to ask permission when soliciting our site on other pages. Most pages I work with are kind enough to let me share my event on their page as long as I do the same for them.

5. YouTube. We need to use this network mostly to our advantage. All group breaks should be posted on YouTube with a plug at the very beginning of the vid and a link in the description. FS/FT vids, box/pack break vids and PC/mail day vids as well should have a TCC plug.

Prizes for promotional purposes should be coming from the revenue pouring in from the ads on site. Well, that's not gonna happen anytime soon. So instead of thinking "we can't afford it" we should be thinking "how can we afford it?" I will look to see that this issue will be brought to the CZT's attention.

For TCC to thrive I believe we need to evolve to keep up with what collectors are looking for nowadays in a hobby forum. During the first couple years of TCC, hobby forums were relatively new to collectors. Now that cyber space is flooded with these hobby forums the CZT needs to figure out how to differentiate us from all the others. What can we offer members that no other forum does or does better?

When the president is absent it makes it hard to see his vision of TCC. So maybe it's up to CZT to create our own vision in order to evolve and appeal to new collectors.
