I have been collecting Jeff Bagwell cards since 1993. I have close to 1700 unique Jeff Bagwell cards/items. I have not been actively searching for Bagwells the past couple years but just recently started back up. LMK if you have any laying around.

Lets start with his earliest cards.



This next one is very special. I had it personally autographed by him at an inter-league game at Tiger Stadium. I have a pic of him signing it. Once I find it I will post it in this post. I was trying to get Moises Alou to sign on one side of the dugout but there was a huge crowd so I decided to go to the other end of the dugout to see if anyone pops up. Then a few moments later Jeff pops up. Wow! Im glad I made the move over to the other end.

Well, I received my eBay Bucks certificate of $31 at the beginning of the month so I went Bagwell shopping.

met him in person once near his rookie year, went with him , luis gonzalez and a few others out to a bar after a cardinal game. My good firend was a teammate of luis gonzalez at south Alabama!

remember pedro Thomas was a cardinal that year and the life of the party!

Recently joined some Facebook trading groups to see what they are all about. I make one post on a Bagwell card and hoards of people start messaging me on Bagwell cards they want to sell me.

Well I found one seller who had some rare early inserts that I needed.

Got all 3 for $11 dlvd.

It was made by a company called MJB Holographics. They produced 250,000 4 card sets of the ROYs of 1991. The autos were limited to 500. I assume 125 of each card in the set. Yes, they were packaged in a CD case lol

Bought this gem several weeks ago off TCZ along with a 2015 Elite Status Cespedes #/49 for $40. This is #/15. Recent sales on eBay have it around the $100 mark.

Received this lot from COMC about 3 weeks ago. Picked up a few 1995 cards I needed. I still need about 50 cards from 1992-95. I am gonna shift my focus more on 96 and 97 this coming year. I need just under 100 cards for 1996.

Hey Abel do you have a breakdown of all your Bagwell cards such as total per year, total AUTOs, total GU, etc.? If so I'd like to hear about it.

As far as COMC goes I'd say it's the best place for player collector's to go to pick up a bunch of cards cheap. I've gotten hundreds of cards from there myself for players I collect and I usually wait until I have 100 cards and then ship them all for free to save a little money!

My breakdown is mostly by year. For example xxx/350. I will work on getting it posted in the first post in the near future. It's all on a spreadsheet.

I have a master checklist I copied from 2006 but it needs some updating. I will sometimes pick up a card that isn't listed. Also the cards from the past couple years are obviously not listed. I do not keep track of how many GU or Autos I have. Just aiming for 1 of each card starting with the earlier ones. But will sometimes go for later ones if they are real cheap.

Stopped at the LCS a couple weeks ago to pick up supplies. Decided to pick up a pack of 2015 Topps Update Jumbo. Was trying to decide between 2 packs. Went with what felt like a lucky pack.
