As some of you may know, I'm currently hosting The (UN)OFFICIAL Multi-Sport Team HBC here on TCC. Well, since the current group is as successful as it is so far and drew so much interest from the start, I've decided to host another one, but slightly different. All the rules will be the same, and if you don't know them the link to our current thread is in my signature. The only thing I'm changing for the new group is that there will only be 15 members, and the cost will double to $50 a month per spot. You will get 8 teams, 2 from each sport. I've made this post, and I'll let it ride for the month of June to find out if there's going to be enough interest in the new group. If there is, we'd be looking to start it up in July or August at the latest. If you would be interested in joining this group, please let me know and I'll add you to the list. If we get the first 15 members by the end of this month, we'll shoot for our first break in July.

Attention Team Members: I have posted this thread in each of the 4 sports that are involved in this group to see if there is interest from members who may not browse the group break marketplace threads in all sports.

Wow, as fast as the first group filled, I'm really surprised there hasn't been a single person want to join this one. I mean, 8 drafted teams gives everyone a huge shot at pulling some nice rookies, inserts, game-used, and autographs every month.

Is there really NOBODY who would like to join?

can u explain this to me for 50 bucks i get one team from any sport? or do i pick how many teams and how many randoms i get?

There are no random teams. This group will be an 8 round draft, where you can pick any team from any of the sports available. The only draft rule is that you can only pick 2 teams from each sport. However, once the drafting is complete you'll then be able to trade, or sell, any of your teams to other members.

Sweet, thanks deantap! The group focuses on opening new products, but I've been trying to get a good mix of current products, as well as "last year's" stuff to maximize the possibility of more rookies. We're not really limited to any specific years. What I'll do at the beginning of each month is post the thread with a tentative box selection. The group will then discuss that selection and add/remove as needed.

What happens to the teams that are not drafted??

The base cards would be randomed off between members as a lot. Any inserts, rookies, or hits pulled from the 2 undrafted teams would be randomed off separately.

Well, we're averaging 1 member joining every 2 weeks. At this rate, we can probably hold the first break in December.

Anyone else want to join before we call it quits on this group?
