I have just encountered a first for me. In the thousands of transactions I have had on eBay I have never had this happen before. I have 2 items, both happen to be autographed 8x10 photos, that I purchased from 2 entirely different sellers. BOTH of these items show delivered on 7/11/12 at 6:08 am. Probelm is I have never received these items. Normally when I receive an item larger than a standard letter, the postal folks put a key in my PO box that goes to a locker where my packages are safely locked up until I can get them. I don't know what to do here. I doubt I will be able to get my money back through Paypal since both items show delievered. I just find it very suspicious that both items were delivered at the exact same time on the exact same day. I am going to the post office Monday and seeing if possibly these are sitting in a locker and the key was just placed in the wrong PO box. This is just very strange. Has anything like this ever happened to anyone else? If so, how did you handle it?

Why we tell folks just because it says dlvd doesn't mean it was dlvd necessarily to the person or the right box/person. Only way of doing that is the other options where they have to sign for them. I could be wrong but I don't think the carrier scans them when dlvd, but I could be wrong as they do say out for delivery. You would have to ask the PO about that, as they could be put in wrong box or stolen off of truck. Do they just automatically show up as dlvd once the Postal Carrier comes back, or do they actually scan it in vehicle?

I believe they show as "Delivered" once they scan them and they are put in the mailbox. I'm hoping that these are in a parcel locker and they put the key in the wrong box (possibly a box beside, above, or below mine). It just seems odd that these were "delivered" on the exact same day at the exact same time. Makes me think they were put in the wrong PO box. Silly me, I though getting a PO box would solve any delivery issues. Either way I may be out around $90 here.

Oh well ya PO box would be different if at the PO, I just meant I"m on a rural route and doubt the contracted person scans them when dlvd and figure they do that at the PO when put in truck or just mark them DLVD once they come back, but I could be wrong.

I went by the PO today to check my box and what did I find........BOTH of the items that had been missing which showed delivered over 2 weeks ago. I have no idea what happened but I am very relieved!

I was getting ready to comment before I saw your last post Chad (I missed the thread untill now). I've had the same experience a couple times where it has showed delivered in the system then showed up days or a week or so later.
