Ok, so we reached 5th. I don't know about everyone else, but I'm already starting to look at 4th!

Here's where things stand at this moment:

4. TraderRetreat.com - 1727
5. TradingCardCentral.com - 1432

The gap is 295 at the moment. Any predictions on when we'll move into 4th?

Well... To my knowledge impossible... You'll never know the line graph will keep increasing or will decrease then rapidly back up increasing. I know it won't be decreasing, but lots of people just joined and don't post... There is still about 500 Member haven't post yet since Last October. Anyway, it seem Line Graph will increasing and will be be slower then will come back faster. How To Think? Get Line Graph into your mind and follow what I said

Well... To my knowledge impossible...

From 12/28/05 until now, we've added 667 new members! So, over that 31-day period (a good sample size), we've averaged 21.5 new members per day!

At this moment, we have 1451 members. Over the next 64 days, there's good reason to believe that we could add another 1376 members (64 times 21.5). When that happens, we'll be over 2825 members!

The numbers are impressive indeed, beware. If they signed up but never contribute all it is is a number. If they sign up and post usless crap or pick arguments all the time that's ten times worse. Once a member signs up are they a member for life even if they never make another apperance at the site? Not trying to be negative in any way just wondered.

Yes, the plan is to leave all member accounts active unless that member requests to have their account removed or their behavior leads to their account being removed.

Why? Because that person made a decision to join at one time and they should be the one that then makes a decision to leave. I've been a member on a few forums that remove your account after some period of inactivity and they were indeed forums that I didn't visit frequently. However, the first time I returned there and found that my account was removed was the last time I was there.

On the opposite side, there are some political forums that I really only get active on during major elections. When I return there after a year or more, my account is active and just like I left it.

Beyond this primary reason, there's really no reason to remove them. The members data doesn't require much space. Plus, those members are available to be contacted via e-mail about things that they may be more interested in at this time such as OpenChecklist.com.

With all this said, I agree entirely that an active member is desired 100 times more than 10 inactive ones or one that is active at causing turmoil. Because of that, one of the things that the TCC Team often discusses is ways to encourage our inactive members to get active! If others have ideas on this front, I'd love to hear them!

Again I was in NO WAY complaining, was just curious. I totally agree with how your running the site. I've always been a bit curious and when I have a question I usually ask.
