Beckett will host an auction and do all the write up and picture work. Almost had them do one for me.
They get I believe 20% of the sale.

It is an awesome card. Auto wise I think I'd rather have a Dual Ruth/Thorpe.
I would likely keep it for a while. Although the Yankee card is gonna make somebody's Christmas.

nice autos, but that card looks like junk. they could have done a much better job on placement and design.

Great sigs and all but i have to agree with not liking the over all look of the card.

I also dont know if this is the best way for the seller to get the biggest buck for the card but Beckett does have a large internet following and can shot out plenty of emails and tweets about it.

I am interested to see where it ends.

9-autograph card that includes Ruth, Gehrig and 3 other HOFers? Unbelievable card! As previously mentioned, I'm not a fan of the card design. I don't mind the front and back card design but the design of the card that holds the cut autographs . . . Seems fairly dull if you ask me.

Whether the card is on consignment or not, my abhorrence for Beckett continues to grow.

James Spence Authentication received the card and has been asked to offer a second opinion on its authenticity.

I'm not an expert but I do have a photo with 2 facsimile autos of each of these players. The Ruth signature on the card looks pretty much spot on from the example I have. The Lou Gehrig auto is the one I assume to be suspect.

While it would be great to have the autos, I have to agree with previous statements. That card is just fugly!

I cringe when I see cut autos. I can't help but wonder what historical document may have been cut up so the card companies can produce these. If it was just a note card that someone had lying around, then fine. On the other hand, if it comes from a letter, contract, check, etc., I'd rather have the entire document because it adds a personal touch to the item.

Perhaps, if it was signed. The difference is with signatures, no matter whether you cut up the document or leave it intact, there's only one signature so you might as well leave the document intact.

But documents don't fit in cards! And as cool as it would be to pull a redemption for a full signed letter, we all know how redemption's go for cards. Its a 50-50 gamble if you will get it! But yea I agree with cutting up some of the things they do, it would be a great piece to have but then what would collectors have? Not everyone can own a full Babe Ruth GU bat. So do you want one person to have 1 really cool item, or a bunch of collectors have a nice piece for there collection?

Or what would be really cool is do the box topper thing! Like there was the signing bouns framed things, and the player head bust, and the glass things. It could be for like topps, they could use "vault" type items, and no 2 box toppers would be the same! The could do documents with autos on them, maybe cut out the full name or team logo off of a players jersey and put the whole name uncut in there, or printing plate set, all kinds of cool ideas! They and don't put in cut autos and game used cards. Just leave that for the box toppers. Just use good photos and cool graphics and have rare inserts that look really good. You could do a full high end product free of stickers, free of cut autos, free of GU cards, and I think it would be a huge hit! Wait why am I giving away my ideas??
