In terms of memorabilia, I have thre AU baseballs - Nolan Ryan, Cal Ripken, Jr, and Ken Griffey, Jr.. I've had them for about five or six years (got each of them during Christmas). My mom was able to get them at reasonable prices (from JC Penny, I believe - all are certified). I also have a ball autographed by the entire 2001 Cincinatti Reds, with Griffey on the sweet spot. I have a cousin who lives close to Cincy, and a friend of the family worked in security for the Reds. She was able to get into the dugout, and get the ball signed.

Cool! Do you have pics? What kind of display do you have for them? I only have 3 AU baseballs. And is your cousin a Bengals fan? cool.gif

To tell you the truth...I don't know if she's a fan of the bengals or not. I don't have a picture - I don't have a digital camera. My display is currently a simple ball case. Some of the autos on the ball are hard to discern - here's who I can make out:

Griffey, Jack Mckeon, Elmer Dessens, ron villone, Aaron boone, Sean Casey, Pokey Reese, Scott Sullivan. I could just check the 01 Reds roster....

Edit: It's 2000 Reds, not 01. I couldn't recall the date for certain, but I just saw that Chris Stynes played for the reds in 00, not 01 - and he's on the ball.

I have a few auto balls from players like Bob Feller, David Wells, Johnny Podres and Monte Irvin, all obtained in person except for Bud Selig's which he sent through the mail.

I had an auto Royals team ball when I was a kid. I don't know what ever happened to it. Probably got lost in a move or something. sad.gif Don't have anything like that now. sad.gif
