Ever since http://www.tradingcardcentral.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=199271 posted his thread on the rare Babe Ruth McFarlane figure, I have been on a quest to find the "Golden Ticket".
Hey, Charlie did it and got his very own Chocolate factory.......maybe Mr. McFarlane is secretly looking for someone to drool .....I mean......rule over his empire.
Tonight I was at the Wal-Mart in Hendersonville and went to look at the McFarlanes. This store is huge and actually has an entire aisle with nothing but figures on it.
As I round the corner, I see a blue hat with the words Cooperstown and immediately shove this 5 year old kid out of the way........but it was just a Nolen Ryan.
After picking the kid up off the floor, wiping his tears away, and telling him to "man-up", I begin to look at the figures more closely and notice TWO Babe Ruth figures in the back. About this time the brat wants to look at a WWE Smackdown figure on the second shelf and I'm forced to body slam him.............. Hey; if you can't hang with the big dogs, stay out of Wally-world.
Much to my dismay, the George Herman's are with his traditional white cap and therefore meaningless to me at this particular time.
As I decide to end my quest for today, I hear this youngster telling his mommy that I assaulted him which is slightly over exaggerated. I was just exercising my constitutional right which protects me from illegal search and seizure.
She, on the other hand, did not agree and decided to bear arms.
By the way; what in the world do ladies carry in those bags. My ears are still ringing....................
If anybody finds one........let me know!!! I'll pay shipping cost!!!!
