I know we all look for alternative options on selling our cards, so I thought I would share my experience with Checkoutmycards.com. I have bought there on several occasions and have been happy with the experience. But recently I decided to ship some cards to them that don't get alot of attention trading and try them out.

I will share my experience with you as it goes..

I shipped 165 cards to them on 3/1 that were received on 3/4.

I selected the 4 week service (cards are uploaded within that amount of time) with a charge of $36. Postage was $9. Within a few days, my account stated that 10% had been processed and my fees were withdrawn from my account. Since that time, no other cards have been uploaded. I can't actually process them until the whole batch is completed.

I have also purchased some cards to "flip" (yeah, our favorite word around here). Most were purchsed for .25 and relisted for somewhere between .50 and .75. Not gonna get rich, but gives me something to do while I wait for the batch to be completed. They are mostly Classics, so I don't have to do much research on them...and some of them I can actually use for my collection, so if they don't sell, I will be happy to receive them.

I will update periodically and give feedback on when my batchgets completed...and of course sale results. They boast some pretty impressive numbers of cards and transactions...we will see how it pans out. I did also see that they have classified ads as well where people essentially list their entire inventory for one price....interesting.

I have to say that I use COMC quite a bit, I was skeptical at first, but have found that you can obtain a large number of cards for a very good price and the best part is you don't get raked over the coles with shipping and handling like you do on eBay. I'm not saying shipping prices are high, but when you can ship 100+ cards for $20 instead of what would have been maybe $200 on ebay it's a lot more friendly to the buyers.

Also, I've found that the prices can be dramatically lower, just on actual card price cost, then what you see cards floating around for on eBay. This may be due to the competition on part of the sellers to have the lowest price for a specific card or just that people are just trying to unload what they have.

From what I have heard from some of the sellers I know, it seems that a lot of the cards they see selling on the site are the lower end cards, as the high cards it seems everyone looks at, but passes by.

Anyways, that's just my .02 cents on the site from a buyer's standpoint. To this point, I haven't sold on there, but I just received a $20 first time seller's credit in my last package of cards that they sent to me, so maybe I'll send in a few of my duplicates and see how it goes.

Haha. Brian, we must be operating on the same wavelength. I shipped 2,000 and they are scheduled to be uploaded 4/7. I left some $ in my account and have had a blast "flipping" on there while waiting for my cards to go live. Also pulling together another batch to send in of lower BV cards ($4-$6 BV) but need to make some sales once my cards get there to pay for it as I don't want to contribute any more up front.

So far I think this is a great site (with reasonable charges) and will be great for me once I get back into busting open product to be able to just send shipment into COMC rather than dealing with Ebay and shipping individual cards that I don't want to keep.

They get a thumbs up from me and I suggest others check them out for buying or selling! There are some great deals to be had on the buying end too.

I've been selling and buying on there for the last month. Good site, reasonable prices. Good for set builders. I like the Make Offer button. Nice that you can at least attempt to negotiate a lower price.

Posted by: captkirk42 Mar 23 2012, 11:04 AM

This is another one of those reminders that I need to gather up more stuff to populate my "store" there with. I've had few sales partly due to having so few cards (a little less than 200, I started with about 230 or so) that coupled with the fact that most of the cards I have there are just 1 or 2 (3 or 4 in some cases) of several of that very same card. On some of them I lower my price to almost nothing to be the cheapest guy, and on others I don't really bother with comparison so I'm sometimes the highest, but most of the time I try to keep mid-range.

As for buying there. It has been quite a while since I've bought anything there due to the ease of getting stuff from the Bay or Sportlots.

Posted by: beanschat Mar 27 2012, 10:03 PM

no change on the account yet...still 10% processed.

Posted by: Tarasadie17 Mar 27 2012, 10:19 PM

Once in awhile I will find a deal on COMC, but for the most part I find what I want on the bay for significantly cheaper. In fact, I crack up at many of the prices I see posted on COMC... cards priced significantly over book for no discernible reason. It is good for a chuckle... wink.gif

Posted by: beanschat Mar 28 2012, 09:40 AM

Yeah..if you are just looking for one or two cards at a time..it's hard to get cheaper than the bay..however, if you are looking at getting 20, this saves ALOT oof money on shipping versus multiple sellers on ebay.

Posted by: tyrodsports Apr 1 2012, 04:52 PM

I have picked up quite a few cards from COMC by putting in offers. I have thought about selling on there, but still am unsure of some things. Do non-high end cards actually sell on there? I literally have thousands of cards I could do without?

Posted by: beanschat Apr 1 2012, 06:18 PM

At this point, I have no idea of what actually does sell there yet..I have used it primarily for inserts, but I would have to think that they would be just as likely to sell there....the low maintenance fees though (1 cent / month) is alot more attractive then relising them every month on EBAY...

Posted by: beanschat Apr 2 2012, 07:46 PM

well..it's due on 4/4, and still at 15% loaded.

Interesting thread..I only have debated about selling my card on the site. Now you will be the TCC guinea pig. Good luck I hope you do well so i can send my cards to sell also.

So it's been a month and that's how many of your cards they have loaded? Either I'm confused at what you are talking about or that doesn't seem too impressive.

Posted by: beanschat Apr 3 2012, 08:34 PM

no...I'm not too impressed either at this point. They jumped to the 10% pretty fast so they could take my funds...but now that tomorrow is the due date, i am up to 20% loaded. And you can't work any of the batch until it is done...it's not like I can price some of the 165 cards or so that I sent them.

I'm hopeful that they just wait and end up posting on the deadline date, and that the update % doesn't mean much. It seems like others on the site pretty regularly update with exactly when there cards are going to hit "I have XXX many cards uploading tommorrow" leading me to think that COMC is consistent and posts the cards when they are "due". Mine are supposed to hit the 7th and are currently at 15% progress. I'm optimistic that that's how it works....and for the number I sent in, I wouldn't mind the price reduction to $.15 a card if they don't get them done by the 7th (as long as there done soon after that). Good luck with your's posting tommorrow!

Posted by: dualshock Apr 3 2012, 10:11 PM

I was waiting on my cards to complete and the percent jumped to 100 on the due date. I wouldn't put too much weight on the percentage.

Posted by: beanschat Apr 4 2012, 09:05 AM

well...hopefully you are both right, though I don't mind the reduction in fees as well. They are now up to 40% this morning, but the estimated date has moved to 4/6.

Posted by: beanschat Apr 4 2012, 09:38 PM

within the last hour they have finalized...now the selling begins...according to them I have $844 BV...

Posted by: beanschat Apr 4 2012, 10:25 PM

Just finished updating my prices and went to my dashboard...4 cards sold for $6.83 and another offer for $9. That's alot quicker response than I could have imagined....

wow I like what I read so far..keep posting man!!

Posted by: beanschat Apr 5 2012, 08:20 PM

well..nothing else has happened so far. I had been careful not to submit cards in which there was a high population already so I wouldn't be hitting a flooded market. The best card I sold so far was a Jason Taylor RC BV $15, got $6 out of it...then a couple of minor cards including a card that wasn't supposed to go there because it wasn't worth it...got lucky and sold that card for 3 cents before I could donate it to the site.

I also have an offer for $9 on a Pedroia Topps Black #d/50...probably a fair offer...i had it listed at $15 and might counter back at $12. A couple of other minor offers that I have countered on. No need to jump on the first offer on the first day.

Posted by: chopinalex Apr 6 2012, 09:43 PM

hey beanschat from what I see the fees to sell one card would be like 50 cents to 1.00 dollars..why did you sell for 3 cents..they charge a .20 cents fee for the first 500 cards each dont they?

Posted by: beanschat Apr 6 2012, 10:11 PM

yeah chopinalex ..that was what I referred to as an oops in my previous posts...don't know how that and a couple of other cards got in the box. As far as the fees...they fees are .20 per card...and the batch fee was about .03 per card that I shipped in ($3 on a box up to 500 count)....then they also charge .01 per month they have to store it.

For the $36 in fees (plus $9 postage) i have $844 worth of cards (asking $445) that I never have to scan, relist, etc...to me, it seems the .20 just to scan and upload is pretty reasonable comparing against what I would have to do to sell on ebay.

In the last 24 hours, I sold another card for $3. I was honestly surprised it sold. It was a promo card that was in Topps packs a few years ago for those sportclix figures. the card had Arod, Ichiro, and I don't recall who the third player was on it...honestly didn't know if it was worth anything but I thought I could surely get .25 out of...I started really high I thought...and it sold without anyone trying to talk me down.

I did fail to come to an agreement on another card from Topps Gold Label a few years ago...BV $5 i was asking $3 for...got an offer of $1.50, I countered at $2.25, buyer passed. oh well..it will only cost me .01 next month. I can wait.

I have also purchased a few inexpensive George Brett cards that I didn't have...if I sell them for double great...if not...oh well, will ship it back someday.

Posted by: beanschat Apr 8 2012, 10:28 AM

well..sales continue...about one card a day. Yesterday the card I sold was one in which I was going back and forth on an offer, a Cliff Lee #d/100. BV on the card was $5, I had it listed for $2. Offer initially came in at $1, I delcined outright. He reoffered at $1.50 and I countered at $1.75 and he agreed.

Today I went in and lowered some prices are some cards, mostly Sports Illustrated for Kids cards, one was a Magic Johnson card with BV of $5 I had had listed at $3, I dropped it to $2 and it was sold within 30 minutes.

I should mention that alot of these cards (including the Magic card today) were ones in which I purchased other peoples collections on Craigslist, often for .005 to .01 per card. I didn't even count the SI for kids cards as cards, so to me, there was a lot of "profit" on these cards.

Posted by: chopinalex Apr 8 2012, 10:15 PM

Looks promising still..keep us updated..this is the only thread I am reading these days..

Posted by: dielonthug Apr 9 2012, 12:47 AM

yeah, as someone who may potentially start sending cards there i like these updates.

Posted by: beanschat Apr 9 2012, 09:29 PM

Had two offers today...one was decent..on a card with some paperloss, another SI Kids card of Magic..BV of $10, I had listed at $3. The offer was $1.50, I countered at $2.

The other offer was an immediate reject...2 08 classics Marino Classic Singles (that I bought to flip at .50 each), a 78 Rose (that I bought to flip for $1), and another card, I don't recall what it was but I had a $1 on that card as well...he offered $2.18. That was an immediate reject. The Rose I bought because it looked like it was in the nicest condition of any of the cards listed under $2.

I did get an email that I liked as well the other day. it told me that some of the BVs on my cards had changed. That was nice info, even though it was mostly because they had listed them incorrectly.

Posted by: beanschat Apr 10 2012, 09:30 PM

counter on the Magic card was accepted.

Posted by: beanschat Apr 10 2012, 09:57 PM

Tonight I checked out the classifieds (also known as Port sales). There are often people selling their entire stock for one price..or advertising reduced prices or the fact that they set their rules to automatically accept all offers at a certain percentage.

I found one who had said they had reduced alot of their prices to 80% off and to accept 50% offers...so that $2 I collected this morning was used to purchase a 1958 Bob Cerv (with no special notes about condition) for $1.... a SI for Kids Magic Johnson and a buck for a 1958 Cerv...sounds like a deal to me!!

I hit that sale up too. Got about 100 cards. Last week he had them at 70% and 50% offers and got some already from him. He has some good priced stuff if you can search through it.

An update from my end. My cards hit Saturday. I think someone was buying as I was pricing, as cards started dissapearing pretty quick. When I noticed this, I started pricing higher. I jumped right in blindly and sent 1,500 cards in my first batch and have been getting a decent amount of sales/offers a day. Some things are selling for higher than I thought, and some things I'll probably have to lower quite a bit before I get any bites. Like I mentioned above, I chose to reinvest some of my profits in the sale above, and continue to buy when I see cards at a good deal. I've even bought some Jets cards for my PC that I have sitting aside untill I get enough together to make it worth a shipment home.

Also, prior to my cards hitting, I cleared out what I accumulated from buying (and selling) through a port sale (selling everything I had at the time) for $213. So in the month that I was waiting for my cards to load, I had turned my $100 I left in my account into $213. Not too shabby. I've got another lot ready to ship and so far this sight has been a ton of fun.

Beanchat, don't mean to hijack your thread but figured I'd give my take too. From your comment above, I do think we get 90 days (I know it was more than 30) for any cards we originally sent in to avoid the $.01 month storage fee, so hopefully that is the case.

Posted by: beanschat Apr 11 2012, 09:44 PM

Hey TK! I was hoping you would come back and post your results. Sounds as if you are doing VERY well! It sounds as if you experienced the immediate sales like I did. I wonder if they identify cards as they scan them in and set a price that they will pay under an ID. Otherwise, I haven't found a way to seach newest cards..ohp! Just found it after I thought about it for half a second. I haven'thad any more action, but I am planning on putting together a batch of 500 cards. I figure with 165 cards, I am averagaing a card a day...I don't think that is bad at all..and the fact that we are definately clearing over ebay prices....

Posted by: beanschat Apr 12 2012, 04:57 PM

alright...I admit it...today's big move was going over to NYMETSJETS store and picking up a couple of Donruss Classics I could use...also turned down a $2.20 offer on a Votto RC...I turned it down..my $3 listing price is the lowest on the site by .99 so I think I'll hold out on that for a bit.

Haha, I didn't even realize you bought some off of me. I bought quite a few of those in one of those 50% off sales. I still have that 1 of mine held out of what I've been shipping in for you (I think it's a Craig Stelz maybe). Maybe I'll just include it and sell it to you for a penny and you can ship it to yourself when you build up enough cards. It would save me the shipping of 1 card to you.

An update from my side. I ran a two day advertisement (paid $4) starting last night for 20% off and taking offers on my cards and sold a decent amount last night and this morning (probably 30 or so cards total). I did buy a nice Stan Musial GU/Auto #'d /5 yesterday for $35 and then ended up selling it for $40 (had it at $50, then had to give it up for the 20% off). I was actually dissapointed it sold and probably should have cranked the price up a bit more as that was one I wouldn't have minded shipping home eventually. Oh well, at least I made $5 on it, I'll remember that next time I buy a card I might want to keep.

Also, I opened my account up to take offers from Amazon (which essentially just lists all your cards on COMC on Amazon.com). You have to agree to take a 20% discount on your price to pay the amazon fees but other than that, it just flips a switch and your cards are there by the next day. So if your looking for the Alex Rodriguez 1999 Stadium Club Triumvirate Illuminator that you've always wanted, and search for it on Amazon, bam, you'll see my card. Pretty cool, however I don't think I've had a single sale from Amazon today. I guess not that many collectors go to Amazon to buy cards right now.

Posted by: chopinalex Apr 12 2012, 10:16 PM

So does that mean you are making profit now..to both of you..or you still trying to make up that deficit?

Posted by: chopinalex Apr 12 2012, 10:38 PM

Just saw that the 1 cent storage fee per card is free for first 90 days of original seller...everything sounds good except the initial up front money..to have 500 cards to list is easy but the $100 bucks to front it minimum is high!! plus if I want my cards back i have to pay for them!! I'd rather sell to you guys cheap... hmm decisions decisions..

Posted by: chopinalex Apr 12 2012, 10:51 PM

lol..sorry for these random posts..but I do like the idea of putting your entire lot for sell! Now that I do like!!

Posted by: beanschat Apr 15 2012, 09:03 AM

I haven't made all of my fees back, J am about half way. Seems like they have been there for a long time, but it has still been less than two weeks, and each of the cards sold for more than I had been asking for out of my garage or on line.

I also sold another card since my last post. A Takatso 2005 framed DH #d/25. I had been trying to sell if for quite awhile for $1. After a couple of counters, we settled at $1.75.

I also bought a Bonds GU with BV of $25 for $2.99. I know alot of people don't like Bonds, but his cards still seem to do very well. I relisted it at $6.

Posted by: beanschat Apr 15 2012, 08:15 PM

Sold another card today...a Donruss Press Proof of Miguel Cabrera #d/100. Had it listed for $5 with a BV of $10, felt it was pretty agreesively priced (for me)..and was happy I received an offer of $4 on. Sold!

Also bought a chear Elway card...

Went to a "card show" today, only had two dealer with cards I was interested in (I was looking for quarter cards to send in here). Grabbed about 35 (one was a Babe Ruth Attax foil with BV of $15) and a few other nice ones...Put most of those (a few weren't worth sending in) to put together a lot of 265 to ship in.

Posted by: beanschat Apr 15 2012, 08:17 PM

oh, also Alex, I saw if you do ship cards back (including ones you buy ;-)) they have a max of $25...

Posted by: chopinalex Apr 17 2012, 07:39 PM

hmm..still 50/50 on this site...but I like the updates..thanks!

Posted by: beanschat Apr 17 2012, 09:27 PM

Well...since last update sold a couple of cards...first one was funny. It was the Votto RC that I had gotten an offer of $2 earlier. This time the offer was $1.50. Passed on that as well of course. Decided if I was already 25% lower than the next lower card that I could actually raise the price by 50 cents. About three hours later it sold for the asking price.

Tonight I sold a SI for Kids Cal Ripken childhood photo card for the asking price. After about two weeks, I have just about sold enough for my fees to be covered..and have not been disappointed with the prices.

Mu current asking price of cards is still $433 and BV is just short of $900.

Looking forward to my next shipment getting uploaded. I have included some Marvel chrome cards that I picked up some place along with some regional Clevelad Indians cards and alot more low value GU and autos.

Posted by: chopinalex Apr 20 2012, 09:11 PM

wow great news! It shows promise..

Posted by: beanschat Apr 21 2012, 08:06 PM

One of the things that got me going to the site first was the fact that they show BVs of card. I had a bunch of basketball cards that I had picked up from some Craigslist purchases in my 25 cent box (from when I set up in my garage or in small shows). Checked it out on the site before sending my first batch and found it had a BV of $8. It sold the other day for $3. Nice turnaround from the quarter box.

I haven't flipped any cards yet..kind of surprised by that...But now I have just about covered my listing fees on the first batch. Now I need to cover postage..

Posted by: beanschat Apr 23 2012, 08:07 PM

sales have slowed down...so I went in the other night and lowered some prices...nothing drastic. A quarter off of $2 cards, a dime off $1 cards...and $1 off of cards over $10. Sold three more cards within a few hours for a total of $3.50. I only changed maybe 30 cards...so I need to go in and change another 50 or so, but once again, not in any hurry to sell everything off...still getting about 35-40% of the cards

I still haven't sold any of the cards I bought to flip though...

With my $3.50, I did put in an offer on a 08 Classics cards that I need that is GU and #d/27. That would be an awesome trade if I did it that way.

Posted by: beanschat Apr 30 2012, 09:27 PM

well, I had gone a week without selling anything...but finally sold something else tonight. 40% of BV..

My second shipment is at 10% and due on the 15th.

Posted by: chopinalex May 3 2012, 06:34 PM

uuugh are you making money..seems like you broke even and now are down..

Posted by: beanschat May 3 2012, 08:25 PM

hmmm..I am pretty even at this point..unless you are taking into consideration the next batch of cards already been paid for...that will be a larger batch...sold another card tonight as well....

Posted by: bat115 May 7 2012, 01:00 AM

beanschat, Very informative thread!

I don't think you mentioned this before but COMC waves the monthly fees one each card that for sale under .25.

Posted by: beanschat May 13 2012, 12:05 PM

not much has taken place for me...I think I sold one more card. My second batch will be uploaded this week.

It should be mentioned that NYMETSJETS held a port sale and sold everything in one quick sale. A very attractive lot. Whether or not he is happy with the final cost I don't know.

Posted by: beanschat May 25 2012, 02:09 PM

Been almost two weeks since I last updated....second batch has since been uploaded to the site. Sales seem to be going fairly well. I sold four or five cards yesterday alone, and another one so far today. Seems more expensive cards are going fairly well. Nothing huge, but had a nice RC auto that I couldn't get rid of for quite awhile that I sold for $5. My total sales so far are about even with my fees at this point. I currently have over 420 cards listed with a BV of over $2000.

I also finally flipped a couple of cards...once again nothing big...a 78 Rose I made a whopping 40 cents off of after a month, and a 76 Seaver that I made .50 in a couple of days. It at least pays some fees for some cards.

I also picked up a Werth GU for $1, a Milt Pappas RC for $1, a '57 Piersall for $1...all of them relisted and I would be happy to keep them if I don''t make the .75 to $3 profit that i have listed on each. I have also picked up some very reasonably priced Classics for my own collection.

I also have another deal for 1:1 that I own that someone offered $9 when I had it listed for $18. I countered at $15. We'll see if he bites...I still need to cover postage before I am ahead and that would put a major dent in it. Considering I got this 1:1 in a trade with a Grienke 1:1 for a Beckett 1:1 that I got in a $50 lot of thousands of cards, I think I would still be doing well...

Posted by: beanschat Jun 3 2012, 07:35 AM

The 1:1 didn't pop

Here are my stats after almost 60 days.

I have added 430 cards to the site.
I have 417 cards for sale, 6 that are not (PC that I have bought).
I have sold 57 cards and bought 44. If I would stop buying...I would be on pace to sell everything in about 14 months. In the last few weeks though I have started to pretty consistenly sell 2 cards a day.
My BV of cards available is $1996 and my asking prices total $825.
I currently have a credit of $44.61.

A few things that I have learned...

Most sales occur on cards listed for .25 to $3. I have not popped many for more than $3 (I did sell a Sparky Anderson GU for $5 though).
I suspect there are alot of international buyers, as I seem to sell more cards when I am asleep than when I am awake.
Don't list all your cards at one time...make it last, and do it at night...that way your cards remain as the newly listed more often and longer.

Posted by: chopinalex Jun 3 2012, 06:07 PM

Very interesting beans!

hmm..been awhile since I updated...the 1:1 DID pop, but not to that buyer, and I got the full $18. Have sold several other cards now and have another lot of 500 set to upload on the 18th. I have already paid for that lot and with those expenses included, I am down $50, $1900 BV still there and am expecting at least another $3000 in the next lot.

I did run an ad for 10-20% off. It cost be $5, and didn't really pay for itself. The action I did get though was for full price as you can only make offers if you have a credit on the site.

I also flipped a couple of other cards in this last month that paid all of my fees for the month, plus some extra..

alright Beans-if this fails its all your fault.. I sent off 800 cards this weekend and started prepping more. I need to learn more about these port sales, but decided the inserts and low end game used that are laying around are doing just that...laying around. So why not? I just picked up a huge vintage collection that I will try and push on the boards and then move the rest to COMC. Anyways, this may be a fun venture. If it fails, well then I can blame it on you. Lol.

Been awhile since I have updated....i had another batch of cards upload last week and sticking with my strategy of just listing some each day to keep my cards reappearing under the recently added categories, I just finished pricing all of my cards today.

I have another batch ready to upload on 8/9, so a few more weeks on that front.

Currently, I have 856 cards listed with a BV of $3560.90. My total asking price is $1502.

I have sold 108 cards for a total of over $196 and currently have a $10 offer on a $25 Wally Joyner auto I haven't decided on because I just listed it a couple of hours ago. I also countered 2 offers of $10 on a Mourning Ultra Platinum card a couple of days ago with a BV of $30. I still have one of my counters open at $15.

I have sold 5 cards today for $8.73. I have 5 consecutive days now with selling at least one card each day. Two of the cards I sold in the last week were immediately relisted for much higher prices, though I had them listed between 37% and 50%.

I bought one Jordan insert yesterday for $1.50 that i relisted at $2, BV of $5.

Seems as if it is really picking up. The batch I added this week doubled my inventory. The next batch I have to upload is another 500 cards from my recent basketball Craigslist pickup that I have in another thread here.

well..almost 2 months since my last update..yesterday I went over the $500 sold plateau. I have sold 292 items...

In September I sold 70 items for $94.51 at an average BV of 66%, which is my second highest discounted month.

Also Saturday, i shipped another 752 cards to them as it was the last to at their old pirces. This month they have increased their price to .25 per card.

My sales have still just pretty much covered their costs...however, I currently have 1655 cards active with a BV of $6247.15.

As a part of the increased costs, they have commited to more advertising including in every issue of Becket..so I hope to see increased traffic.

Ha, but its a fun ride. I was updating some of my stuff and noticed you had posted some new cards. I am closing in on 800.00 and have been doing really well with flipping cards. The flipping is tricky though, cause I have got burned by the recent specials and so many cards being added by others. I buy cards at a discounted price and still lose money to people who recently posted, specifically on 2012 stuff. In the end, I am having a blast and have just shipped 1800 cards to the site...I think that will be my last shipment for a while though, just too much time keep the prices competitive. Thanks again for tutoring me on this.

Hey Rodney!I do a little bit of flipping, I don't get burnt too many times though..but I shy away from the new stuff. I found a Manning RC for $5 that it took a month to sell for $8, so that covered my storage fees for the month. I also found an old White Sox team card (like 1957) that was in nice shape that I got for $2, and again a month later sold it for $8. You apparently have done better than I on selling though! Good job!

The site early in the year started selling the Beckett BV package which did not go over well with the members. Since then, sales have really flat-lined. I was up to about $150/month in sales, this month I am below $2 per day...with over $18000 BV on the site and 4700 cards. I am not nearly as happy as I once was though I have had over $2000 in sales. I have stopped sending in cards until the site can show that sales will increase again.

Any updates since the site overhaul/revamp?
I cut ties 2-3 months into no progress and users having to add their card information(basically rebuilding comc's database for them) on many many cards

Good idea, not sure the model has sustainable growth for so many salaries.

Thanks for any insight

Sure. I went over $4000 in sales recently. Growth of the site has certainly slowed down since their overhaul. Most of my sales I reinvest in cards on the site, but have sent home 2 very nice batches of 100 cards each, but sales have never gotten to the level they once were. Septembers are brutal for some reason. This month I am yet to reach $45 in sales although I have 4500 cards available. They still run the program where you can get credit for helping them update the website. I don't know that I see this every going away as I think it is used to confirm their database and since new cards are released every month....

I rarely send in batches anymore, and when I do it seems they reject quite a few that I don't understand. And they rarely ever run any specials. Instead, it just seems easier and more economical to buy cards there and relist them rather than paying postage and processing fees.

My satisfaction today is well below what it was when I started this thread, but the only way to improve it is to drive more buyers to the site.
