Which side of the fence?

If you ever wondered which side of the fence you sit on, this is a great test!


If a Republican doesn't like guns, he doesn't buy one.
If a Democrat doesn't like guns, he wants all guns outlawed.


If a Republican is a vegetarian, he doesn't eat meat.
If a Democrat is a vegetarian, he wants all meat products banned or regulated for everyone.


If a Republican is homosexual, he leads his life.
If a Democrat is homosexual, he demands legislated respect.


If a Republican is down-and-out, he thinks about how to better his situation.
If a Democrat is down and out, he wonders who is going to take care of him.


If a Republican doesn't like a talk show host, he switches channels.
If a Democrat doesn't like a talk show host, he demands that he/she be taken off the air.


If a Republican is a non-believer, he doesn't go to church.
If a Democrat is a non-believer, he wants any mention of God and religion silenced.


If a Republican needs health care, he shops for it, or finds a job that provides it.
If a Democrat needs health care, he demands that the rest of us provide it.

The same could be said for liberal and conservative. 

You can't expect this country to get person unless BOTH sides own up to their mistakes and try to work together.  This chain letter is another example of partisanship which will get us nowhere.

These chain letters have been going on since 2007 or so. I've seen worse (indeed, like that witch doctor racist garbage I saw earlier - posted by who I'd expect to post all these chain letters).

There a smell of desperation in them... you know? Old and tired desperation.

Steve - I was calling the chain letters old and desperate (which is why I said 'them' not 'you'), mentioning the date 2007 (old meaning rehashed punditry and nonsense).

Don't look further into something when it isn't there. That's the whole "assume" thing, hehe. I only picked on you as being the person who posts chain letter stuff because, well, you do.

The chain letter is more true than not. If I must compromise my core beliefs to keep peace then I will fight. Forget giving in to the race baiting, freedom destorying, socialist liberals, moral corrupting, God Hating, Sodimite elevating, people. Most liberals would put down their weapons (if they had any) and follow blindly like the people of Germany in the 20's an 30's. Ask them how that worked out by 1946; and yes I do have German friends, one was even in the German Airborne, He loves America. I will not give up my right to laugh at obama dressed like a witch doctor or at George Bush in a chicken suit snorting cocaine. You don't like it...tough...leave!!! I will not bow or bend to the leftist statement..."Can't we all just get along?...It takes a village to raise a child..." Bull!!!! Ask a woman who is being raped if she just wants to get along...ask someone being robbed if they just want to get along! You see the differance between you and me is I'll kill the perp with out blinking an eye...they chose their fate. You see CHOICES HAVE COSIQUINCES... Sorry Steve did not mean to rant but really the level of testosterone in this country is at an all time low.

You know what I hate besides people with narrow views? Labels like "you conservatives" and "you liberals." I hate intolerance from people who claim to follow the teachings of the Bible, too. IMO, Jesus would be cool about most of the things many people hate on, because he was that darn cool. I also hate those who rally against "socialist" programs and yet enjoy the ones they have to the point where they'd march to keep them.

I'm an American. I'm neither right, nor left. I don't care what anyone else does or believes because they have the right to do things, as written. I don't care what anyone does in the bedroom, I don't care what god they worship (if any), and I don't care how many guns they do or don't have.

Why pigeonhole groups, when politically, our dearly beloved elected officials are the same freakin' idiots no matter what party they claim to be (and sometimes switch!).. Pandering to special interests, pandering for votes, raking in cash from lobbyists to spend money on the stupidest things.

So, I'll just smile when people look at me like a loony lefty, despite my random voting record on either side of the aisle (because I vote based on intent and character and history)... While I clean my modest arsenal and dream of deer season... All the while hoping and praying our country stops being the policeman of the world and involving itself on stupid wars on drugs and terror that cost us billions and have done quite little in the grand scheme of things except limit our freedoms and make more enemies.... Etc etc ad nauseum.
