It's that time of the year where we can look back and be stunned at what we actually thought were good ideas at the time.

1. NBA Bas-ket
It's tough to believe, but I thought this game was the coolest thing in the universe. Whatever simpleton sold this to NBA advertising deserves a boat in the Bahamas. "I've got an idea...we'll give little kids flippers to try to take a ping pong ball and project it into a hoop...they'll play for hours!"
I was a sucker for the colors on the side showing the divisions and logos. We miss you Kansas City Kings! Kids, this is what we did while somebody else was playing Double Drible on Nintendo.

2. NFL Electronic Table Football
The bastards got me. Somehow, they got me to believe that some controls at the bottom of a figurine could be programmed to make sure that player went in a specific direction. Yes. I'm stupid. We would receive this long box that featured a playing field, a scoreboard, some weird device that you were supposed to kick with, and 22 players from two teams.
