I actually prefer the original lineup better just because I really like 07 Ultimate and 07 Black and am not a huge fan of Co-signers or EEE. However, I would still give it a go either way to try it out.

May close this thread due to a few people not being able to make it, and change the rules a bit.. I understand we all PC teams.. but many people will not join due to lack of good teams left..

It may be best and fun for all of us if we join the monthly and get 3 random teams! Each Member would get a tier 1, tier 2, tier 3.. so atleast 1 great team, 1 solid team, and 1 bottom feeder a piece.. feed back please?

Hmm. Up to you Chris. You are the host. I know we had a good break running for a while before with Abel and it was 25 bucks a team and there was a ton of interest every month.. That being said times around here have changed...

Wonder if the price (although every other month) might be shying folks away...

I have been trying for years to get into a monthly break with my Yankees but... if we can drum up the interest with a draft only league then I would still be in. (only if you agree to trade me all yankees you get..LOL just kidding)

I would be okay with the draft format if we tiered it. Of course the issue there is are there really ten tier one teams?? Maybe we should keep the price and bring it down to 6 spots (5 teams per) or like you said go to monthly and 10 spots but lower the price if folks are still not in...

Maybe make like the Yankees, Red Sox, Rays avail first round.. then Phillies, Braves, Cards avail second round and so on..

Basically all this typing says I do not know..LOL but I would be regardless of format... LOL

I have always been of the belief that baseball breaks work best when all teams are randomly assigned. There is just too much of a difference between the haves and the have-nots. There are 6-8 premier teams that get taken every break and then it stalls out. The fact is, the Yankees and Red Sox will always get the most hits and will dominate top-dollar hits, so there is a lot of reluctance if you can't get one of those teams.

I would suggest lower the price point a bit and go total random.

I'm fine with the lineup. I like Black so would prefer to keep it. If you want to replace something, I would lean more toward Masterpieces, which only has two hits and usually just one auto.
