Collector Zone _ Baseball _ Baseball Hall Of Fame by TCC

Posted by: 19th Century Indiana Jones Jun 21 2006, 10:57 AM

I am in the process of building a web page depicting a card of each HOFer. This webpage will represent the collective of Trading Card Central as a whole.

A list of the current HOFers is available on the site. I have already entered ten of them. I didn't even realize I had ten HOFers! blink.gif

Requirements and order of preference:
You MUST own the card - it CANNOT be a borrowed image from elsewhere

Raw Rookie Card
Raw 2nd-year card
Raw Earliest Card
Graded Rookie Card
Graded 2nd-year card
Graded Earliest Card

Only one card will represent each HOFer and the preference is listed above and each will be replaced as preferences occur. Your card images will be appreciated and full credit will be given to the owner of the card. The R-click has been disabled on the webpage to prevent theft of images. You may PM me the images for use.

Again, this webpage is to represent TCC as a whole. Your image donations will be greatly appreciated.

Classy looking site!

Posted by: bufbillsstlcards Jun 21 2006, 11:07 AM

That is very cool! But why are there open Bullet points on the List? Are those spots expected to be filled in the Next HOF induction or something?

Those aren't open bullets. I guess the color I used was too light. Those are HOFers I already have images for.

Sorry, but no. The card must have existed the same time the player began is career or was early in his career.

great looking site!!!

Posted by: 19th Century Indiana Jones Oct 14 2006, 09:14 AM

Currently doing only baseball. Any scans of the earliest possible card for an HOFer is what is needed. I will expand as time permits. Thank you for the vote of confidence! baby.gif

Posted by: 19th Century Indiana Jones Oct 25 2006, 04:22 PM

Added 1951 Topps Red Backs Ralph Kiner to the webpage. Special thanks goes to tj2373 for donating the scan.

That makes 14 HOFers that TCC collectors have in their own private collections. I know there are more! Don't be shy! baby.gif

I have upgraded to a premium account so the page would look a little better so it represents TCC in a very nice, clean, uncluttered and professional manner. Sound familiar, Bob? wink.gif baby.gif

I've got a decent 1953 Topps Satchell (sic) Paige. His 1949 Bowman and Leaf cards are his rookie cards but the '53 is his first Topps card. Feel free to use this image.

Absolutely. They will be in place until a RC is available. It has to be owned by a TCC member.

Just PM me the links.

Thanx.
