Well, the NBA playoffs aren't too far away! It's that time of the year again when players who have not been in the spotlight are given the opportunity to prove themselves and deliver.

Who are your picks for this year and why?

Mine? Russell Westbrook. He has simply been playing at a consistently high level over the past 2 months in particular. Opposing teams will scheme to limit Durant and Westbrook will have a golden opportunity to cement his status as one of the best young PGs in the game today.

I am VERY excited to see the Thunder in the playoffs.. Should be a lot of fun!

I'm also looking forward to see the Nuggets as well. It doesn't hurt that Kmart is on the team, but I just love them now that Melo seems to have figured out his game fully.

I'm mostly ready for the regular season to be over so I can stop woefully checking the Nets scores

I project a fun and exciting playoffs. I know everyone and there is picking the Cavs just like every year but I am predicting right now the Magic have the best chance at winning it all after reading that they have the best point differential in the leage, there 5 starters have been the same for 90% of the year they did not lose one series against any team during the regular season and I predict Vince is gunna be a ton in the playoffs. Not only do they have Dwight inside and tons of shooters around him but they are very sound defensively and have 3-4 players to guard Lebron and Kobe(Pietrus Barnes Carter Lewis). They also have the top record in the east since January.

I can see the Thunder winning again in OKC to force game 7, but unfortunately I don't see them winning in L.A.

No matter the outcome of this series, the Thunder have proved to be legitimate contenders for years to come.

43 point win?! It's looking like the Magic will prob sweep the Hawks too. They would have swept them in the regular season too if not for the Josh Smith last second put back. The other three games were all won by 17 or more.
