Although I love Crosby, Im a little hesitant to pull the trigger with the concussion non recovery..

Can anyone say Eric Lindros???

For that kind of money you could have a few nice autographed gamers & pay to have them all framed & Photomatched. I think the seller had a post today on UD's facebook page, I'm guessing he's bailing too.

For that kind of money I would bail as well. I am concerned myself, but there are a lot of "stories" so it is hard to know which one to believe.

Now at $49,000

Crazy money!

Sitting at $50,100. I wonder how much it cost him to put that together.

Me too. At least he is walking away with a nice chunk of change, as long as the high bidder pays. laugh.gif

Nice !

Even if the highest bidder doesn't pay, it looks like a bidding war, and he could make an offer to the second highest, or third highest.

edit: $57,601.00, by the way. 21 hours remaining. Hurry up if you want a chance at it, guys!

Thats crazy, and a big gamble to take on him, I took a gamble on Lindros way back when, and his cards are worthless!
When he comes back, his play wont be the same, cause one more hit and he is gone! So he wont be taking chances anymore to score a goal! Kid needs to slow it down a bit!

Paul, I agree that is a pretty big gamble and will really stink for the winning bidder if he does not return. I am not sure if I agree that he will not be the same, but I am concerned he may hang up the skates. I mean he has a ton of money, so unless he spent it all he can live comfortably for the rest of his life. Only time will tell.

Cannot believe someone had that much money to spend on cards though!

WOW

That's a BIG 1099 for the seller. Hope both parties are happy. Wonder how they are doing the transaction? That's a lot of risk on both sides.

Someone should be happy with that sale, but hope the buyer plans to break up and flip them. As Crosby is one flying Ovechkin away from retirement
