I've posted this in a couple other forums, and I'm curious to see opinions here.

I'm sure lots of people remember Eli saying he's a top 5 QB in the league, well he seems to be doing everything he can to prove himself. I was looking at some stats earlier and noticed that he has the third best passer rating in the league (105.6), he has thrown eight TDs and only two INTs while completing 64% of his passes and leading his team to a 3-1 record after four weeks. The 64% is good, but not jaw-dropping. However, that QB rating is very impressive, in my opinion - and so is the record considering the Giants have one of the worst run games in the league right now. Eli seems to be carrying the team on his shoulders.

His week one was less than stellar, throwing one interception and no touchdowns in a loss to the Redskins - but I honestly think that makes the following three games even more impressive. All eight of his touchdowns and only one pick has come in the last three games, which have all be wins for NYG.

I still have a hard time calling him a top 5 QB with so much talent this league still has at the position, but he's definitely putting up some amazing numbers.

I am a big fan of Eli, but I don't think that I would put him in the top 5. He has impressed me this year considering the very young WR's that he has to work with. But I think that he has all the capabilities to become one of the elite QB's in the league.

Eli is quickly becoming ELITE. He has been very clutch this season. As far as the Top 11 rankings go... You forgot Peyton Manning. He's not dead or retired. He's just simply hurt. It should be...

1. Aaron Rodgers
2. Tom Brady
3. Drew Brees
4. Peyton Manning
5. Eli Manning
6. Michael Vick
7. Phillip Rivers
8. Matthew Stafford
9. Matt Shcaub
10. Tony Romo
11. Matt Ryan

NO Joe Flacco in sight.

I think Eli is an elite QB the guy has had consistent passing yards his whole career. Last year was rough on interceptions. But, if you heard what gruden said he should have only had 17 which is still high.

He already cemented his place in history. He is also the best Manning to ever play.

I think he's elite, but he's not very consistent. Whereas when Peyton plays he has maybe 1-2 bad games a year, Eli has like 4-6 games where you scratch your head, but he gets it done in the end which is all that matters

Elite, yes. But Peyton and Brady are still better.

Top 5 in the league currently? #5 on the list for me.

In no certain order: 1-4= Brees, Manning, Rodgers, Brady. 5= Eli

I like Eli. You can't beat 9 touchdowns with only 1 interception in the postseason.
