I keep telling my wife's relatives to stay away. Not only dangerously inbred, but hard of hearing I guess.

Keep them coming!!!

Unless you just have to get rid of it, I would hold the Jon Jones auto. The kid is good and will be a title holder at some point.

LCS had them on special today, so I bought 2 boxes.

Box 1
Francisco Cervelli Auto
Jason Heyward SP
Duke Snider Auto

Thought I killed it, then box 2.

Box 2
Nate Schierholtz Jersey
Chipper Jones Cycle Mini #/99
Brian McCann/Joe Mauer GU Booklet #/99
Stephen Strasburg RC

Pretty good day. I debated on the last box, but it was from the same case and I let it go.

I bought one box and pulled a very nice hit.

Jimmy Clausen Helmet Auto #/100.

I left the other 2 boxes on the shelf after that. I figured my luck had run it's course that day.

New England Patriots

One of the 3 best QB's in the league. 2 talented WR in Welker and Moss. And the biggest head case, Moss.

Defense is sub par, especially compared to past years. They will not win any close games.

RB by committee will keep all fresh. Should help the passing game with the weapons they have.

I see a division title in the works but am counting on Randy to throw a tantrum and cost us a playorff game. He can disappear better than LeBron did against the Celtics. Only hope is his contract year, and he takes all his medication daily.

Prediction : Division Winner, 1st round playoff loss.

All they have to say is it was in not as described! They can say it had a dinged corner and there is there case! Its not fair but can happen. And paypal tends to side with buyers way more than sellers! They seller has to go way above and beyond to prove there case, were a buy only has to fill out a little thing and bam wait it out!

Ouch. Glad I don't sell on Ebay any more.

Seems like they are way too hard to deal with.

I have thought about sending in cards to COMC.com to see what can happen over there.

Who I feel sorry is the sellers who have sold Strasburg cards within the past two months that are getting hit with Paypal chargebacks. I've heard that quite a few ebay buyers have filed chargebacks today on Strasburgs they have bought in the past two months, even though they have given the seller positive feedback. And unfortunately with ebay's policy the buyers will most likely get a refund.

How is that working??? If a sale was completed and the buyer received, what justification are they using 2 months later to get their money back???

At a yard sale this past weekend, I purchased 2-5000 count boxes for less than $10. The only reason I bought is I saw some 2000 Bowman rookies, and there was an Oswalt in the stack. There are plenty of 2000 Bowman common rookie cards also.

What a bargain. This guy had cards from the mid 90's through 2002. He had all the stars/semi-stars of the time organized by name. Lots of $8 to $20 insert cards of different players. Including the superstars of the time There was a Greg Maddux collection from 1988 to 2002. Over 700 cards.

Enough 2002 UD Piece of History cards to make 12 - 15 complete sets.

I am still trying to sort through these cards, but conservative value over $4000.

Any Maddux fans, send me a wantlist, and I can look since they are organized.

I will try posting other singles available also.

I am trying to work out a deal for a Tex Hughson Cut Auto from 2009 SP Legendary Cuts. It is #/13.

Trying to come up with a value on the card. He had a couple of great seasons, but a very short career. Some of his certified auto's out there don't sell for very much, but that does not reflect the value of this card. It is a clean cut, with the edge cut off on both the left and right a little bit. Not taken from a picture or anything else with "background" on it.

Thank you for any help.

What is his secret for the UD Jersey Proof cards? He claims they are a blank back, but none of them show the back.

To me, it would be pretty easy to rip out a jersey piece and peel off the back of a card, but it would look terrible.

I have been to the store many times over the past 6 years during my travels to Albany. Both women are great to deal with and even better to talk to. Have also had some big pulls at their store. And they always have a great selection of older wax to open.

If you are ever in that area, stop by and say hello to them.

I picked up 2 A+G Bazooka Back mini cards this weekend at a new indoor flea market for a great price.

Trying to get a value on them.

Sir, you got the bad luck of the draw here. It stinks, and in a $200 box, you should get better value. But it is what it is. Calling to complain is not going to change the face. If you had pulled a $2000 card, would you sell and give half the money back to Topps? Nobody would. I too have bought Triple Threads in the past, and did not enjoy the return on investment(so to speak). So now I buy/trade for singles. And while I don't get the thrill of potentially getting the "big hit", I also don't have regret over $200 wasted.

If you were missing one of the hits, I would say you have a valid gripe. In a case like this, man up, take the butt whooping, and move on. There will always be another high end product waiting to take our money and kick our rear.

Sorry for your bad luck, but that is the way the box opens.

One suggestion. Have a section of the table geared towards kids. Cheaper cards/packs/grab bags. Most parents don't mind spending a few bucks on their kids and those sales could ring up pretty quick.

I know you said as a lot only.

But if you ever break the collection apart, I would be very interested in the Red Sox Auto/GU cards.
