"If" is the question, the only thing I saw on the checklist as far as Silver's and Gold's are that the Silvers are numbered only to #/9 and the Gold if you get one is a #1/1, didnt see if there was just regular one's of the card. Mark would've pointed it out that it was numbered in the break, or does it normally dont have a number on it if there are only 9 made, just says silver

ITG varies in whether it numbers the cards, usually they notate on the card one of however many. Black is generally the base version, silver the middle version, and gold is the scarce version.

A lot of times it just simply doesn't say it on the back you have to go to the checklist and look it up. I think my Irbe Complete Jersey from 13-14 BTP is like that, it doesn't state the print run on the back, but it is Silver /9. I think the Superlative states the numbering on the back but most other ITG stuff does not

This card sold on Ebay for $10.50, guess numbered out of 9 means nothing, makes me sick, and makes me help my decision to quit the hobby even more.

Yeah, you would expect that it would sell for more than that, but the person selling it did not note it was out of 9, however I don't think that would have helped it to sell for more. Unfortunately, that is the problem with todays hobby, the overproduction of game used cards has made them worthless.

It is a hobby and as long as you enjoy it keep on doing it. I don't believe you were doing this to get rich, but you were doing it to collect the players you admire and enjoyed watching play and remembering those memories. That is the sole reason I haven't quit, but I have cut back how much I buy as I was buying way too many things and not really focusing on what I was interested in. And also spending $100 on 3 hits to find out they were worth $10 for all 3 made me realize this.
