Hello All,

First of all a big THANK YOU to all who contacted me in the last month or so via the board, PM and/or email! I am still working fulltime on my businessplan for starting a European online store specialised in American sports cards. I'm also discussing matters with numerous European collectors telling me how my future online cardstore could help them and the hobby in general.

Right now, I am also in touch with people at Upper Deck, Topps, Panini, Ultra Pro, Max Protection, etc. discussing the possibilities for my future shop and things look promising there aswell.

I came up with several plans and ideas, some of them dating back to the early 80's when I started collecting myself as a young kid (Yup, I'm "old skool"...wink.gif and that I can now implement in my future store.

If you haven't contacted me earlier or you would like to give me your views on how I could help YOU in the future, please let me know. It's greatly appreciated!

Some questions that I hope you will be able to answer are;

1) What's important for you in a cardshop?

2) What brands and products do you like to collect or look forward too and would you like me to carry in the future?

3) Do you ever pre-order products and how important is it for you to receive a product in Europe on or around the American release date?

4) Are you willing to use bank-transfer instead on Paypal if this would result in for instance a reduction on the postage-cost?

Any information that you are willing to share is more than welcome and you can send me a PM or an email at venividiritchie@gmail.com

I hope you will me keep me busy again for a few weeks..wink.gif

All the best and "Happy Collecting" from The Netherlands,

Richard/ VeniVidiRitchie

Hello all!

Greetings from The Netherlands. As I'm not sure if there is an easier way to reach all European collectors on TCC, I thought I'll try it this way.

At this moment I am doing some research on our hobby of collecting American sportscards here in Europe. The main reason for this is because I think there is room for a LOT of improvement in many different ways.

That's why I would like to get in touch will ALL other European card-collectors here to get a better understanding of how many of you are out there, What country you are from and what product/brand(s) you collect.

Please leave a message here, PM me or email me at:

venividiritchie@gmail.com

Hope to hear from you all and "Happy Collecting" from The Netherlands!

Cardcraze: I am currently working on a list, but it might take a while to get that complete. What older heritage do you have available (List?)

KevinAlan: Hi, with redemption cards I don't mean the actual card that you send to the company , but the cards that you get back from them..

I remember getting a special '93-94(?) New York Knicks teamset because they won the eastern Division (I had a NYK Super team card and redeemed that), I have a Penny Hardaway GU from 00-01 UD (E-Volve) and a several 93 Fleer Ultra team America cards that I got back plus '92 Karl malone cards that I got back. I'm currently working on a list with all these cards and will put that on my website. But will make a comment here when it is up.

I have lots of Jordan (Incl. a '91 beam Team), Shaq rookies, etc.

For me it is the oppisite, I used to be a die hard baseball collector but have cooled down some, so while I still collect baseball, I have expanded my intrests to other sports. Do you have a list of the GU and AUs you have have in basketball? Thanks, and welcome to TCC!

00-01 Fleer Ultra "Feel the Game" Sam Cassell
00-01 Fleer Ultra "Feel the Game"Antoine Walker
00-01 Fleer ultra SILVER Autographics Vlade Divac (#080/250)

Hi all,

My name is Richard and I live in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. I used to collect basketballcards in the early 90's and then again for a brief periode of time in 00-01 and have thousands of cards available (complete sets, singles, inserts, redemptions, rookies, stars, etc.) but got into collecting baseballcards recently.

My basketballcard collection is in no way 'cherry-picked' (Is that the correct english expression??) and were always stored properly and are in great condition. (There are TEN 900 count boxes full of cards in total)

The nineties stuff is from all brands but mainly Fleer Ultra and Topps Stadium club (That was considered high end in those days...smile.gif from 91 to 94, but I got 95-96 stuff aswell.

The more recent 00-01 stuff is Upper Deck and Fleer Ultra. (sets, singles, inserts, numbered cards, autos, game used)

I am preferably looking for one or a few bigger trades for basballcards that you have available. I like to trade commons for commons and the better stuff for better stuff.

I have sorted them all out but have no list or so available so you have to ask and I'll try to answer your questions.

Best regards and hope to hear from you!

Richard

Hi all,

I'm trying to complete the '08 Topps Heritage Chrome set (Wouldn't mind refractors though) and am still looking for a Jeter(#C72) and a Joba(#C96).

If you have one of these two available i could trade you a Pujols(#C15) refractor or have a look at my tradelist: http://www.freewebs.com/venividiritchie/

Richard

PS: I could use other chromes too!
