QUOTE(Beavers98 @ Apr 13 2010, 10:30 AM) Might have to do some digging. MIGHT have something.....Just curious, why BOL as a PC?? I almost started a Manute Bol pc lol. Just because he's such an oddity. The guy is ridiculously tall, skinny as heck, blacker than the night sky, blocked shots like a monster and he's just a human tower. Plus I doubt many people collect him. But I just decided not to because he doesn't have a whole lot of cards out. I don't know what his reasons are but those were mine for almost collecting him. |

QUOTE(Kmart6nets @ Jan 28 2010, 07:05 PM) Fair enough... I really dug that collection! Any new collections for you yet?
Sorry missed that post. I started an Andre Miller collection but I stopped it, you can check out what I have in my bucket, but a lot of them are on ebay so I took them out of there. I am working on a collection right now but I'm gonna be quiet about it until it's actually something nice |

QUOTE(moparcudaz @ Mar 18 2010, 02:16 PM) WOW! i'll take that and put it next to my $400,000 nintendo track and field game. That's $40,000 lol. This guy is a nut. His explanation for pricing the card is pretty delusional and ridiculous. The artist may be the best sports card artist there is (I wouldn't know because I don't know jack about that area) but that doesn't mean a thing. It's beyond stupid to price it at 2 million. There's nothing about the card that warrants that price. Jeter had nothing to do with that card, any card company can hire a great artist to make a 1/1 card of a highly acclaimed athlete. For 2 million, I MIGHT understand it if were an autographed 1/1 quad refractor card, with a piece of Jeter's skin, bone, hair and bat, AND with real 18k gold for the text lol. Now that's a card. |

QUOTE(northicehero99 @ Mar 3 2010, 12:42 PM) Unless it is a book worm, then you have problems. These cards sound interesting, but just not sure I would buy them. Now I do like the sounds of the wierd items they are putting in Champs Hockey (dinosaur fossils, etc). That would be something cool to own, as the only ones I get to see are in a museum, even if only a piece of the dinosaur fossil (with the exception of something super small in size). This is true . Me personally, I'm into the weird cards. I have a Woolly Mammoth femur card, pretty cool stuff! I'll try to get my hands on any other weird ones if I can afford to lol. |
