Collector Zone _ Suggestion Box _ Tcc Side Bar Instant Messanger Chat??

i dont know if it has been suggested yet but a tcc chat like facebook has would be amazing. no more pm conversations you can just pull up a side bar chat and figure things out

I agree this would be a pretty nice addition to the site. I can also say that there is already a program that would probably be easy to install that would add this without much work.

I would like to see this. But there could be the problem of people constantly soliciting you. You could have an ignore button but still... Overall, I would still like to see this be implemented. PMs are like e-mail, outdated!

well rather them just allowing the chat to pop up you could have a notification come up.. FOR EXAMPLE... let say that i want to chat with 2000 rushing yards... so next to PM button there would be a chat icon. i click that and then he gets a pop up saying "fenway1990" wants to chat..ACCEPT / DECLINE...

The link loads or chat room (worked for me).
But in all honesty I have checked the chat room many many times and there has never been anyone in there! Unless it was like the old chat night we had (do we still have chat night?)
The bar like on facebook and myspace would be great. And might have other uses?
I am 100% for the idea it it can be done and wouldn't be a ton of work or wouldn't cost (like where Mjda said there was already a program that could do it and would be easy to do?) So if we can and everyone seems to be for it why not? If its easy, maybe free and we all would like it. Why not try it? If it works then sweet, if not we drop it!

Yes, but for the purpose that the OP asked about (hopping in and working out a trade with someone), it would work just fine, as it has that capability.

That may be so, but he clearly said he was looking for something like facebook, which would be a lot more beneficial and easier to use. You could also continue browsing TCC, without the need for an additional window, while you chat with whomever you want.

It is absolutely achievable. The real question is whether or not it will be discussed by the team and, if approved, implemented.
