I have an ebay gift certificate coming to me for completing a wellness survey for a research project. I can't decide whether I want to blow it on a 1977 Topps Cloth Test pack or a blaster of Gypsy Queen.

I've been doing well with Gypsy Queen blasters, usually pulling at least a GU out of each box. Last box I opened had an auto and a GU #ed /50. I've even managed to score one of the framed mini clear 1/1.

On the other hand, 77 Topps cloth has 55 cards in the set and 19 are HOFers. Other notables include Thurman Munson and Mark Fidrych RC. Drawbacks: only 2 player cards per pack plus 1 of 18 checklist cards. The value of these cards are extremely condition-sensitive and could be a nightmare when it comes to wax and gum stains.

What do yall think?

Buy the singles on cloth patches not worth 25 and the cards could stick together in the pack

I keep telling myself that, but the draw of potentially pulling a Ryan, Jackson, Schmidt or Brett in NM or better condition really keep gnawing at the back of my neck. Foolish thoughts, I know....
