The truth is the Ernie Banks is the only one of those I showed that I have had for as long as I can remember. The Next "longest" one I got was the Jurgensen I got from Ebay in Oct 2009, The Useld Ruler and the Wings card I also got from Ebay a few years later (I'm too lazy to check my mailblog for those right now, the Jurgensen took long enough to hunt down the date) the Hockey one I recall getting with another vintage Hockey card a few years ago from a sportlots auction I think. So Yaz don't gots to be over 50 to get 50+ year old cards. (actually 45 years + for the contest round rules) Just need the determination to hunt them down and look for whatever price you are willing to get them for. Some of them vintage cards are really really surprisingly cheap. People tend to think of the super cards like Mantle Rookies and Babe Ruth cards from when he actually played and how expensive those are they tend to forget that the "commons" from many of those sets/years are still affordable in some cases.

Unfortunately, I sold most of my non-hockey vintage cards as part of my estate sale.

Well this day didn't go as planned, but I can almost hear that celebration music-

Well they call me Sweetness and I like to dance. Runnin the ball is like makin romance. We had a goal since trainin camp to make msw a Battle Royal champ. Now we're not doin this because we're greedy. The TCC is doin it to feed the needy. We didn't come here lookin for trouble. We just came here to win a Royal Rumble......
