Been a long while since I did a show and tell or even wanted to make the effort to do it

But..

Lets start with St Louis Comic Con back in March.

Took Maddie to meet Nathan Fillion and get his auto and picture


While waiting I came upon this

then

came Cleveland Oh and the National.

I always look forward to the UD Diamond Club event. 9 hours of driving one way Saturday morning and 9 hours back sunday. Plus a night in the hotel for my son in law and I.. and for what..

Priceless Memories.

So the story.

Get to Cleveland a few hours before event

We went down to rock and roll HOF and it closes at 5:30 .. do what..

Rock and Roll all night.. The museum definitely does not share the true spirit of Rock and Roll! Wasn't paying $50 bucks for a half hour.. onto downtown..

About then I started to get text from Madison back in St Louis that a long lost friend was looking for me.. IN CLEVELAND..

onto to the event

UD does one fine job of treating everyone to a fine night

and the joke of the night.. a Justin Blackmom letterman auto #/25 I gave UD some heck about that saying my bag mustve been "higher" than all the rest..

and also in the bag was a ton of packs

I had mostly SPa hockey which yielded dreck

and SP golf.. which I must say

was awful pretty!

I actually got the wie from some loose packs at the bar along with a fine adult beverage called yuenglings which I simply requested with a peace sign for the rest of the night at least a dozen times..

the genie starts granting wishes..

He hands me some auto card of some basketball dude from Cleveland..

Bron or something..

but..

before I could even reach for my plastic sleeve some dude comes up and says Ill trade ya

$200.00 cash and this for the bron..

but and then..

The genie is still handing stuff out and shoves a bag in my hands.

In front of him I give the bag to some Little girl that was following him but he was ignoring.

(later that night I find out she pulled a Tiger woods auto from that bag.. and shaq gave her all the bowling money he won)

But and then then..

Im standing talking to chris carlin..

Oh but wait Im way ahead of myself here..

rewind to the 1st Y and michell wie..

So Im standing in the corner nursing my Y and admiring my Wie when.. a guy wearing a 264 army jersey appears in front of me..

I meet the son of Bob Depouw.. Brandon..

Hugs and kisses for my good friends son.. a toast another Y and more toasts and more Y's

Then about 1/2 hour later I meet Jason the president of UD and we have about a 20 minute spin on what is right with UD!

THEN..

I meet steven Laroche the new Hockey editor for beckett and blow another 1/2 hour spinning yarns with him.. great guy..

and whew..

back to the girl and the bag and chris carlin.. I look up and outside the roped are I see none other than Mr 264..

Hugs and kisses for my bud and a plea to the Carlin meister to let him join in.

Bob gets to meet Laroche and Jason and I needed more Y's

Party ended.. but Bob Brandon and I pick up Mike my son in law and we go way into the night!

Good times Ill remember forever!

A trip to Q town and a visit to my favorite haunt Diamond cards to say hello to Barb

Bought a box of Inception Football

which had an extra hit in it I understand..
