I was invited to attend a Chicago Bandits game yesterday. It is women's fast pitch softball. Originally I wasn't interested but then my buddy told me that Jennie Finch was going to be there to have her number retired and sign autographs. Well that changes everything!

Keep in mind she will be attending the Mounted Memories show here in a couple weeks and will be charging $39-$49 for autographs.

To keep a long story short I guess this league is filled with former USA Olympic softball players. The starting pitcher's for each team are former Olympians. Cat Osterman and Monica Abbott. Last night however Monica Abbott got the best of them and threw a no-hitter!

My buddy has season tickets and season ticket holders get first in line to meet all the players after the game so I had Abbott sign my ticket. I coulda gotten the entire team but let's be honest. What am I going to do with a Bandits signed softball? LOL

Anyway, overall night was a total success and I spent a total of $20 and walked away with all this. And that $20 includes buying the photos and a beer at the game!

Wow!! Cool pics and autographs......this is why I personally like the in-person autographs more then the TTM because you see the individual and it is a lot more personal (good as well as bad experiences) - lifelong memories.

On a side note......She has got to be one of the most beautiful women to play the game of softball and did you see the size of that rock on her finger.

Here is the Keith Moreland update I mentioned. Nothing special here was in and out. Not many people there. Maybe because he is a below par announcer on the worst team in baseball. I dunno.

This won't be a long update as my back is killing me and I am sun burned. When I get a chance I will share some of the photos I took today.

I went to the MLB Class A All Star game. Got there around 2pm and started on autographs right away. Unfortunately I didn't bring enough stuff to get signed as I was full of signatures before their real "autograph session" began.

Since I am not getting into details right now the two biggest names I got were Miguel Sano and Fransico Lindor who are both #1 prospects for the Twins and Indians respectively.

I did not get every single player but I think I got over 3/4 of them and got all the bigger names. If you follow minor league baseball and curious if I got them, just ask. I will try to get into more detail later in the week but only if I have time.

I was a 5 year partial season ticket holder with the SI Yankees. Due to finances, I had to drop them this season.

I used to graph the Yankees and had them sign a pennant, which was the only thing the team store had that was signable. Bad idea in retrospect as the sigs on a pennant fade. For that reason, I never got a official NY-Penn League Ball signed as the signatures fade on those baseballs as well.

The short season just started and I am going through withdrawl. I will make at least one game and graph it then.

That is why I went with the OMLB ball. Why not. $15 for the cheap balls at the stadium or $12 for an authentic one from my buddy. Easy decision.

I am trying to find someone to go back with me because Miguel Sano will be back in town and I found 8 good action pics I took that I can print in high quality 8x10. It helped that my seat was about 20 feet from his position at 3rd.

Unfortunately this is the first time I have ever gone out and come back empty handed but at least I got to see a cool football game and take some good videos.

I attended the Madden 13 Launch party which had the main attraction of a Pro Am Flag Football Game. The list of people there is just too big to get into everyone but some of them are Brett Favre, Lance Briggs, Deion Sanders, barry Sanders, Chris Carter, Michael Irvin, Doug Floutie, Nick Jonas, Ne-yo, Terry Crews, Jerry Rice.

It was crazy as there were about 2000-2500 people there and over 1000 of them were young girls screaming for Nick Jonas. No one got any autographs that I saw and the players didn't even acknowledge you, let alone deny you an autograph.

Like I said though I got some decent pics and video I think.

I went back to the Kane County Cougars stadium today because Miguel Sano was back in town. This is a Class A MLB Minor league game.

I was told that Miguel only signs one per person which was some what true. I guess it was 1 per person each time he walked past you. I ended up with 2 8x10 which are photos I took of him at the all star game last week.

For those who don't remember Sano is the Twins #1 prospect. I am in the process of uploading videos of the 3 at bats of his that I saw. So make sure to check my YouTube channel.
