My end was sent...I just received his end today....post marked almost three weeks ago.....I hate the post office here.

They just left our post office within the last few days......I'm going to start mailing from Lubbock from here on out.....this place is a flippin joke. The cards you sent me sat in the "to be delivered" bin for two and a half weeks (at least) before they finally got delivered here to my house. I've never seen...and still don't comprehend how they do delivery in this town...always the same excuse that with only two trucks to deliver items for the whole town they don't have enough room to deliver "all packages" everyday. I've sent a letter in reference to this policy to the post master for this area and to the post master general with mixed results.....I'm still waiting for a final word on what they're going to do. If I take a package to the post office and mail it.....it goes out that day....if I mail it from home it goes in the "outgoing" bin at the post office and may or may not make it onto the truck to be sent. I'm to the point that I'll either start sending via UPS, FedEx, or simply going to the Lubbock Central Post office. The problem with going to Lubbock to do all of my mailing is I will be limited to mailing out one day a week, probably on Fridays. If I send 3rd day delivery, which is what I changed your shipping to before they finally left here. The only reason I knew that your cards had not left our post office yet is because I got a yellow card in my box notifying me that I had a package at the post office to pick up. I went and picked it up (post marked Dec. 27) and asked if I had any other packages that were in the bin. The clerk came back with the one addressed to you!!!!!! It is on it's way...finally...and should have left the post office either before the close of business yesterday or on the first truck out of here today. I'm fed up...and after I have the rest of my trades completed on here I'm suspending ALL trading until I figure out a way to resolve the issues with this post office. It's either that or I'm going to start mailing out from Lubbock on Fridays or Mondays and just mail out one day a week....because the crap with this post office isn't working. Like I said in an earlier post....I dont have the bubble mailer your cards arrived here in...but I know it was post marked at least 2 1/2 if not three weeks ago.

Dear Mr. Kristopher Harmon,

In response to the complaint filed with our office we would like to thank you for your concerns. We understand the frustration of having mishandled or misplaced packages and the time in which they are delivered.

In response to your specific complaint that the United States Post Office, located in Abernathy, Texas, 79311, we can assure you that "holding" packages until there is room to deliver them is not within the general policy of the United States Postal Service and we will look into that matter. However, it is within the authority of the local post master to schedule deliveries under extraordinary cases.

Again, thank you for your concerns and if you have any further questions please feel free to contact me personally.


AT THIS point the letter is signed in some language that I'm sure is not English and there is no contact phone number, address, or email address in which to contact this person.
