How does one get over that horrible feeling when you lose an auction? If you lose an auction its probably because of:

A- You were outbid and it exceeded your budget.
B- You forgot about the auction and didn't bid.
C- You were sniped at the last minute.

I lost an auction recently(Non card related) by a sniper who bid with 2 seconds to go! Gosh, its hurts brethren!

I always look at it, that if it was meant to be or I would have bid enough to win it or gotten lucky enough for someone not to see it. laugh.gif Hate getting outbid with a second left and really feel what they should do is extend the auction by 3 minutes when a bid happens in the final seconds to allow counter offers. I mean that is the way real auctions work, you keep bidding 'til everyone says I'm out or doesn't bid within 30 seconds of the last bid.

The more unique the item the harder it is.

Actually I don't mind too much when I'm outbid on stuff, most of the stuff I want eventually shows up again. Sometimes I have to wait about a year, but most stuff tends to reappear, unless it was a true 1/1.

I get more frustrated at sportlots on their 1,2,3 auctions. There when you get outbid and can't afford to rebid you keep seeing the auction as something you are watching. Two other downsides to sportlots is you can't watch something without having bid on it. Also most of the cards get sent in PWEs with little protection or the wrong type of protection, and usually too much tape. Some Ebay sellers do the same stuff though. *sigh*

What I Collect
