OK, so this was supposed to be a Canada only release? Well maybe just the Hobby boxes as my Target had 8 or so tins on the shelf. I took one at $20 just to see what the cards look like.
My warning is don't waste your money!!! The cards are cheap like base Score. Even the "inserts" are blah! I got two rookies, but both whosits, one #/299 (think Minnesota) which is the base RC, and one #/99 red (think Florida and not Huberdeau). The only bright sides are the nice tin the cards come in, a Malkin base, and the oversized rookie card of Galchenyuk (don't think this was numbered). Not sure what they go for, but overall disappointing break. The remainder was just base cards. I know the overall odds for getting a hit is 1 in 4 boxes, so I picked an even numbered NHL holosticker, but it did not help. Maybe the hits are in odd numbered sticker boxes? Not sure, but definately not going to waste another $20 to find out.
Will stick to UD blasters at the same price, at least with those you get two rookies, plus a chance at a rookie canvas or a game used for the same $ and the base is of decent quality with foil inlay and all.
thanks for the warning but I wont buy panini hockey
Yeah the Hobby is Canada exclusive, Retail tins are not. I guess the bigger RCs are currently selling well on that (for now anyway from what I hear).

i snagged a tin the other day and pulled a Valeri Nuchushkin /299. sold it for 16.50 on ebay. i as well was dissapointed with the break, all those base and 1 RC, and 1 Parallel and lets not forget the oversized RC ! no more for me.
The rookies were:
M Granlund #/299 Wild
S Pinizzotto #/99 Panthers
I see a Granlund #/99 went for $9.99, nothing on the other guy. Thanks for the info.
