Hey guys...here for another group break. This month we will be busting the following.....


2 boxes of 07 UD Premier
2 boxes of 08 UD Premier
2 boxes of 09 Donruss Rookies & Stars


Each spot will cost $41 and includes all supplies, shipping and fees. If you have two spots it will cost $79 and if you buy 3 spots it will cost $115. Remember each spot will be for ONE CHOSEN team and ONE RANDOM team. There are 16 spots total. There will be no random spots this month. All payments will be due as soon as the break fills and once I receive all payments I will do a randomizing video. Oilers cards will go to the Titans. Any cards with two or more different teams represented will be randomized. Any card that displays a player in their college uniform will go to the team that the player played the longest for...in case of tie we will do random. If it is a rookie it will go to the team they played for the year the card was produced.

Draft is filled so as soon as you guys are able to send payment please do. I will order as soon as payments are received. I will send out a PM soon to remind everyone of this so disregard if you have already paid.


Andy I will remind whomever gets the 49ers that you would be interested in them and maybe you two can work something out.

i am sorry but due to unforseen expenses, i have to drop out of this. the earliest i could pay would be the 15th so i will have to leave the raiders to someone else. i am sure that it will be grabbed up quickly with the darren mcfadden, jamarcus russell, and heyward-bey cards possibly pulled.

I hope we can get most of the payments in before the 15th but if not I might have to open Doug's spot back up for him. Starting next month...we will set a day during the month for payments to be in...I will go with popular vote (anyone can always send it in earlier).

Most of the groups I've been in have had the 15th as the due date, so I usually think that as the be all have it all in day. Often I can get it in sooner, it depends on my Paypal balance at the time and sometimes my checking account balance that feeds my Paypal. The very beginning of the month i.e. the 1st is very difficult for me as that is when my rent is due, and many of my other big bills are due near the end of the month.


Some of the other groups I've been in at the passing of the deadline time open up the unpaid teams/slots to group members who can pay quickly to get the break going on time. The original person forfeits their slot that month.

Kirk....I think that probably would be the best bet. As I thought about past breaks I realized that we have usually paid around the middle of the month. I will PM Doug and see if he wants to stay in and I am thinking of setting the payment due date around the 18th or 20th of the month from now on. Feel free to voice your opinion because I want it to be convenient for everyone.

I am going to push the payment date back a little so that Doug can keep his spot. We will keep payment day closer to the middle of the month from now on to make it work better for all. If you like paying earlier you can always send it in sooner. Thanks!

I think that if you are going to set a date each month for payment due dates. I think the 15'th of the month is good. Just so that we can be breaking by the last week of each month.

I might even say payments due by the 16th each month....that sounds like the consensus by most. I am glad you guys are putting you input out there because it helps me make our breaks geared more to the members. Don't hesitate to PM me or let me know if you guys have any other ideas.

07 UD Premier has been ordered and is on my door step....when the last few payments come in over the next week....I will randomize and order the remaining items. Hopefully we can break next week....also...what day would you like breaks to be on from now on...I think we should do it on the same day every month. I think we have been doing it on Friday normally but I would like to see what you guys say.

Friday or Saturday either works for me. With a few days before we break and after all payments are received, is there any chance we could do a draft with the randomization determining the draft order? Just a thought, but atleast we would get to choose what other teamt we get.

I say that for this one we continue to do a random vid, but I am not opposed to doing that next month. The only reason I haven't done that so far is because it can take up quite a bit of time if someone is online for a few days. If anyone else wants to do that let me know.

Either day is fine with me, but I prefer Friday night.


RE: The Randomizing of Teams. Doing it draft style can be fun.

A big issue to decide with a draft style is how much time to actually give for picking. Since we are dealing with different time zones and sometimes even another country on the other side of the world it isn't fair to have only a couple of hours. The late night times (between 1 AM and 6 or 7 AM) are usually very dead times.

Another thing to decide is what to do if someone misses their time and didn't send in a proxy vote, how much of a punishment (if any) should they get? Do they get sent to the back and receive the last remaining team? Or do we randomize the remaining teams? I tend to think the first (sending them to last pick) is a little more fair to the rest of the group.

For the multi-sport group I was in a schedule was posted ahead of time and proxy votes were encouraged in case someone might not be online for a while. Each person had 24 hours "on the clock" it worked out OK, and I think due to the combination proxy votes and peoples excitement for the drafting it went pretty quickly. There were a couple of stalled times, but those didn't hurt the over all time much.

I like weekend breaks. With all of the different time zones, more people should be able to watch live (hopefully) not having to get up early the next day for work.

any day you do it is fine with me. as far as the random teams go, i would prefer to keep it as is with the teams randomized, that way everyone has an equal shot at all teams.

I am thinking that we can break on Friday of this next week at 8:30 PM EST. I like Friday best because it leaves the rest of my weekend open to go out with the family. As for the draft instead of randomizing...I wouldn't mind doing it once to try it. I like the draft style better for large breaks like case breaks. Thanks guys...I will keep you updated.

Think we pulled a Johnny Knox RC auto from R&S which I sold with another one I pulled from Classics and actually sold it for a nice amount.
