Time to get the thread up for the next product on our list for the FB Casebreakers group. This group breaks cases of the newest products as soon after release as possible. We continue on with 2011 products with a 2011 Absolute Memorabilia 18 Box Case break. Please remember that I cannot accept Paypal anymore for group breaks so please join only if you are able to send payment by money order or cashiers check or how most of our members are doing it now and that's by your bank bill pay (let me know if you need details on how to do this). Only a few exceptions will be made for loooong time members to be able to send a personal check. Sorry about this extra hassle but the savings of paypal fees is reflected in the lower cost as well! Team assignments below are taken from our most recent case break group so please let me know if you are adding, dropping, or changing teams.

Im in for the Broncos but I am not sure if I can take the Buccaneers for this month. Is there anyone that would like to take the Buccaneers on loan for the 2011 Absolute Break? I am not sure if I can take them. I will know in a week if I can take the Buccaneers. I just wanted to put it out there if someone would like to take the Buccaneers for a month.

Yes, it has to do with new procedures Panini announced at this year's Nationals. Basically, there are only a handful of online sites that are "official" resellers of Panini products...Blowout is included in this group. These are the sites that can deal directly with Panini and re-sell the products. In addition, hobby shops get a one-week headstart on any Panini product when it is first released, so the online resellers will always be a week behind. Since Chris orders most (if not all) of the group's cases online, our release date will always be a week behind the hobby release if it is from Panini.

Yep, I just saw that push back as well. The ship date one week after the Hobby release date was the same issue we had with Timeless Treasures as I thought we were getting it a week earlier only to find out that wasn't the case. Looks like the 26th it is (hopefully). Let's get payments in!

The AFC NFC redemption I believe is just the RPM Auto Jersey with it spelled out AFC or NFC depending on the player.

That's it folks...with just a few redemptions to figure out, that's the break. Some good ones and I do like the design but I would have liked to have seen a bit better rookie star power and less collation issues.

Hit or miss as the 3 boxes we broke in the High End group were better than most of these 18 as we hit a better Julio Jones RPM Auto. 3 color Ponder RPM, and a Cam Newton Redemption auto!

At $150 per box, this stuff is overrated. Just saying.
I don't think we opened a single box worth $100. Just saying.
However, I'm not disappointed we opened it cause now we know.

Funny you should say that Bob. I was shocked when I saw the pricepoint of this product. If I had no knowledge of the group's budget and was just watching these boxes with no previous knowledge other than what came out of them, I would think a "fair" pricepoint would be about $75-$90 a box. At $150 a box....that is just plain robbery.
