Part 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cSVQe6Jgga8Part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V3q-myrnJJM&feature=relatedDid you see it? What did you think? Will it MEAN anything in the LONG run? Will this angle get any of the 8 NXT rookies OVER? --- It was a great ending. Being that I live on the West Coast, I checked WWE.com when the 1st "viewer's choice" came up. Of course, west coasters don't get to vote since the show isn't live. What I did see on the WWE home page was a picture of the NXT rookies surrounding Cena in the ring. Not reading the spoilers, I left the site and watched RAW. BTW, I suck at guessing what the fans would pick with the exception of the "dance off"<<<that might have given Kozsoff some new life in WWE!!! Anyway the Main Event of Cena and CM Punk seemed to have started a bit early than most weeks. When Barrett came out, the arm band "N" caught my eye. Then all hell broke loose! I blinked and the place was thrashed. I was hoping that Byran would destroy Cole, but he apparently ran off like a cat! Lucky for him...this was a "Us vs them" type of angle where they attacked both face and heel from the match. Not sure where this will lead. In wrestling, there are tons of awesome angles, but few ever lead to anything especially nowadays. Because it's the NXT guys, most of whom are still green, I don't think this will last very long before most of them are buried. Still a great "outside the box" angle - at least for this week.

I was in love! I hate Cena more than any other person on the planet, so seeing him being demolished by my boy Otunga and the rest of the crew was off the chain for me!! And I too hope Danielson gets his hands on Cole again because hes gotta be the worst commentator on Raw, ever.

It was surreal. It was also something fresh. A shot in the arm if you will. I'm not one of those guys who can't stand John Cena. The fault lies with the creative team and the senile owner who just is stuck in the last century. Anyway, I got to thinking this through. People on other boards have speculated about who would be the leader of this rebellion. Would Michael Cole be secretly in charge? No. Eric Bischoff he ain't. Doesn't even have the smarts to organize even a 4H club. Ben Miller, writing on the shared Figure 4 Weekly/Wrestling Observer site, suggested it might be a means for Batista to return. No. Too soon. No, in my opinion, if there is to be a leader behind these guys, it's someone we wouldn't expect. Edge? Nah. While he'd gain from this, he too would be threatened because he's a 12 year veteran of WWE. Triple H? Fuhgeddaboutit. He's been bitten by the acting bug again, and while he could've pulled this off 10 years ago, things have changed. He'll be in the midst of it when he returns. So, who would it be? Would you believe..........Josh Mathews? Stop and think for a sec. Josh is Cole's partner on NXT and has championed guys like Bryan Danielson from day one. His announcing style is similar to that of Joey Styles, who's been banished to WWE.com since 2008, and has only made a spot appearance or two since. Josh has been doing backstage interviews seemingly forever, despite the rave reviews for his work on Velocity. He's been ignored, and he knows the pain these "rookies" have had to deal with. Who better, then, to be the quiet mastermind behind the NXT "rebellion"? Discuss.

Cena Twittered: "I am very upset to hear about the release of bryan danielson. Social networks were formed so people would have a voice, and an opinon. I Know you all have your own, theories and whatnot. I respect that. I have never asked any of you to feel a certaint way about me. But Bryan left a lasting impression on the wwe universe in a very short time, and although it came at my expense, I agree with the majority Of you who are caught off guard by this choice. I know I'm not exactly appreciated by all, nor do I care to be, but I believe what I believe. I would like bryan to come back to the wwe. I would like to sign your petition to bring him back. I was taught to stand up for what I beileve in. I tried and failed, so I could Use some help. Tell me how to sign and I will. If for nothing else, to at least have a chance to have a match with him after what was done I know that seems a bit more fair. Give me a chance to have a fair match with him, and give him yet another chance to prove that he does Belong with us. Sorry for the long message, I know I am probally way out of line, I am sorry if I have offended anyone. But like me or not That is what Hustle. Loyalty. And most importantly Respect means to me. Enjoy game 5."
This would certainly strongly indicate work. Another reason is that this idea some nebulous outside force complained at this point would have been revealed. They don't have a reason he was fired. If he was, you'd think there would be a reason. If it's an angle, you'd think they'd have a more solid reason. <<< Could this be?
On RAW AM, they did edit out the choke spot.

QUOTE(dodgerblue38501 @ Jun 14 2010, 09:26 PM) Which is exactly why it won't happen. If anyone ends up being the leader or mastermind behind this, I predict it will be none other than.......Vincent Kennedy McMahon. That would be too easy, and that's why that won't happen, either. This is a fresh idea that doesn't need to be anchored down because of Chairman Wackjob needing to get back in the spotlight. Chris Jericho, who wasn't on the stage at the end of Raw, might be a better bet, but that might be a bit much for Vince's micro-brained Raw writers to wrap around. That's why I went with Josh. Quiet, unassuming, the last guy you'd expect. OBTW, as for UT in a coma, the answer to that mystery may not be the one we want. Rumors have Kane in line for another go-round........! See what I mean about creative complacency?
