TUFF STUFF 2006 Standard Catalog of Football Cards format:
1. Table of content (21 pages) list every set/subset individually. Cards are separated by NFL, College and Canadian
2. Sets are listed under: Card Company 1st, Year 2nd and Set name 3rd
3. Each page is SIX columns, and includes only a Hi Book Value (BV) in Nrmt/M condition. Prices ALSO include BOX prices.
4. Many sets come with a black/white photo of the front of the card (more than 4,500 photos)
5. Most base sets and some inserts sets have general information about them. Sometimes there are insert ratios, production runs, etc.
___________________________________________
Pros:
1. Box prices are given!
2. Sets are grouped by Card Company. This really helps out the novice especially when they only know the card company and not the Set name. For example,
A) all 1999 Pacific brand sets are listed together. Aurora, Crown Royale, Paramount and Vanguard are not separated like in Beckett’s Annual
3. Detailed Table of Contents
___________________________________________
Cons:
1. Collecting info - Limited to 2 pages!!!
2. Doesn’t include many sets such as 2001-2003 Beckett’s Magazines Silver/Gold Samples and Chicago Sun-Times Collection that are widely available.
3. Set listings are incomplete are missing. For example,
A) 1996 and 1997 Pinnacle Mint cards are listed, but 1998 Pinnacle Mint is missing.
B ) 2000 Fleer Tradition base is listed (as Fleer) but several insert sets are missing: Feel the Game, Genuine Coverage, and Patchworks.
C) 2000 Playoff Momentum excludes MORE than half of the inserts sets!!!
4. Including black/white photos for parallel sets such as 1996 Select Certified. Pictures were included for all parallels (Red, Blue, Artist Proof, Mirror Red, Mirror Blue an Mirror Gold), but because it’s in B/W - they ALL look alike!!!
5. Only High BV given, no Low value. But then again who ever uses Low BV?!?

Overall, I would give this a 2.5 STARS out of 5 STARS. Although I like the fact that box prices are given and it is easier to find prices, there are simply TOO many sets/subsets excluded from the pricing.
It is still a valuable resource for people wanting to price semistars and commons and tose looking for checklist for specific sets. That's my 2 cents! I got mine for $20 delivered.
