I like Willis... Cabrera isn't bad either. The only thing I don't like about this trade is Miller... I think he's going to be amazing.

Spend the money and get a passport.

That same site is the one that says you don't need one until Summer, and that you can get back by using a birth certificate and a drivers liscense. I'm making a car payment and going to college, so if I can save $100 and put it towards the trip it would be pretty nice. If I was 29 with a full time job not going to school, I definetly would have just bought one.. but i'm just lookin to save some money at the moment.

Also to your edit, I live about 45 minutes from the border.. so we'll be driving which has a complete different set of rules from flying.

Yea, i've looked at that page and thought the same thing. I don't know... I mean it is a big deal.. people go over there and can't get back home without one.. so I would think that if they were going to go through with their date set for a little more than a month, there would be a lot more sites and people saying you need one.

Anybody else heard anything.. know any family that work somewhere that might know for sure if it's been pushed back?

And i appreciate the help dd.

And if you need one to get to/ from Canada in 08 by land? A couple buddies and myself setup a trip to Canada in February, but we can't get a straight anwser from anywhere on if we need them. Most internet sources say it WAS set for January 08, but it has been changed to June 09. We went up to the passport place today and the lady didn't know anything about anything.. she just tried to sell passports instead of tell us whether we would need them yet or not.

So does anybody know for sure? We already bought Raptors tickets and did all our hotel stuff so if we need a passport we'll buy one.. but if it's not necessary yet it would be great to get a solid anwser.

Congragulations. It's definetly awesome. We bought a 32 incher first for our Den about a year and a 1/2 ago and you notice the quality right away. Since then, we bought a 50 inch HD for our living room, and just a few days ago Best Buy had a deal on the same 50 inch with surround sound so we bought that for the basement.

We have Comcast Cable, and there's a nice HD package in there.. it has like ESPN, TNT, HBO, Starz, and some other basic channels in HD; and then it also has some random channels that have hockey and basketball games on that I watch all the time too. I definetly recommend the Comcast HD package.. but I haven't seen the Dish one yet though so i'm sure it's decent.

Ricky Williams is a pure G. I'm glad he's back... hopefully he can get out of Miami though. If he went to Green Bay, I would be happy.

I drafted him late and everyone said I was dumb for even picking him up... but he's definetly their number 1 wideout. Gonzo is still their number one look.. but Bowe has a lot of size and speed.

I personally like Rex better anyway. He uses Berrian way better than Griese uses him. I don't get to watch every Bear game, but Berrian's production has been garbage with Griese, where with Rex he was a legitament deep threat.

The offense for Baltimore was absolutely terrible. The defense was constantly on the field, and like north said they were missing their 1 and 2 in McCallister and Rolle... so yea.. it was a terrible game to watch.

I actually had an outside chance of winning fantasy football this week; I was up 15 and he had Willie Parker and the Pittsburg D going.. they held Parker to really not much.. but the D did work.

I like this thread.

Just goes to show you can't speak on somebody that early. I gave Joey Harrington almost 2 years before I really gave up on him, and you only gave AD a few games at best.

I .. in 30 years of driving..

have never run out of gas! Ever..

E means E

Not to say that I havent stopped and put $1.00's worth of gas in my car but fuel was only 49 cents a gallon then!

That's impressive.

Actually it's not though.. it just means i'm not impressive at acknowledging a meter. I don't know.. it's not like my car blew up but.. I guess I get to join an exclusive club for morons smile.gif

Fill that up man... I would say filling up my tank was probably like 5 on my list of to do until yesterday. It was like food, miscelanous jerseys, hats, cigars, and then maybe gas. Trading cards was also above gas when I used to do that.

My parents were mad though... I dropped so much this weekend on a casino vacation with some friends. I'll never let it happen again though.. I felt so stupid.

So i'm kinda cheap, and don't have my priorities perfectly in-line. For instance, I would rather go to the casino, a "gentlemens club," or to the mall and drop a hundo before I pour $10 into my gas tank.

Until yesterday, I ran out of gas. It's no good. Right in the middle of the road, i couldn't really do anything. I didn't know what it would be like, but it's way worse then I thought. My power steering went out and my breaks were acting up. I had about 5 cars behind me as I tried to roll into a subdivision. I bearly made it, and had to have a friend fill up a gas can for his lawn mower and bring it up to me. With the power steering out, it felt like I was turning an 18 wheeler into the sub division.

So for the young kids who did what I used to do and think that below E won't run out for 2-3 days, it will. Then some of you are probably too smart, and just put gas in there, well played.

And hello everyone.. haven't been around here for a while.

The whole CD is terrible. He's been on a decline, but I picked it up becuase I figured he was 50 cent and he would at least put something new in my car that I could listen to for a few weeks. But yea, that didn't work out.

If I ever got back into collecting it's definetly what I would do. Instead of just going for any card though, I would probably try to pick up autos for cheap and just hang on to them. How nice would it have been to be the guy picking up all the Tony Romo's a few years ago for next to nothing. He is definetly a dime in a dozen, but that would just be awesome to pick a few players and hit on one of them sometime down the road.

I think they should throw him in for some game expierience near the end of the third quarter if their out of it.. just for a few drives. This way.. he can get some game expierience without having to just have the team thrown at him at game 2 of the season. Also, he can get a better understanding while learning for 6-8 weeks on the sidelines since he's been in a real game.

By week 8 or 9 he should be starting.. but the way the Browns first game went.. it looks like it might be a lot earlier then that.

I haven't had my draft yet.. but i've actually heard from a few friends that Steven Jackson has been slipping into the top 3... even a few #1's i've heard.

I had him last year... the man catches a lot of passes and doesn't really split carries with anybody... so I would say just watch out for him. Either way though for me, LT would have to be one. I would probably take LJ 2.. and either Steven Jackson or Frank Gore 3 and 4.

Hmm... forgot about that. It probably does, apparently. Especially since it would be beyond illegal for them to not pay you.

Either way, good stuff.

Yea.. I was about to say. Even though it is minimum.. it's still not that bad. I know for sure it's 7.15 becuase it says it straight up on all my check reciepts.

Unless you're under 18, ffman. If you are, then it's lower then that. If not, then you might want to bring it up and see what the deal is.

Congrats on the job.

I've been working at a golf course this summer and it's awesome. I work ussually about 4 days a week, 6-8 hours a day. The days I don't work.. I play golf for free. smile.gif You probably make minimum wage like I do.. but if you pull down 20-25 hours a week it's not that bad for a job that you have while school is going on. It's also pretty sweet at the course for outings and stuff... usually on a normal day we can make up to $100 each in just tips.

Keep it up good sir.

What's up dude. Yea... I really don't want to drop the money for a next gen system... but it really looks like i'll be playing a third class Madden if I don't. Pretty much the only game I will play every year for the rest of my life no matter what.. can't help it; so I probably will eventually end up buying an used ps3 in 4 years o_0

We gotta play when Madden comes out if you don't have it for 360 or ps3.. i'll probably get Madden the day or next day after it comes out.. so hit me up on AIM if you get it. I don't post here much anymore but I remember a lot of other people here playing Madden... a TCC tournament should be in order.

My parents thought I was a moron... everybody else thought it was cool because I love sports so much. Made a nice profit getting rid of them though. It doesn't really matter.. everybody has their own thing.. do whatever makes you happy.
