Hey gang,

Futera just dropped an e-mail in my inbox offering a special deal on Futera World Football series 2 packs.

They regularly run a deal for 3 packs for $14.70, including shipping costs. According to the e-mail, if you enter SUPERSIZE in your paypal comments somehow, they'll double your order to 6 packs for no additional charge. 1 offer per person, but that's still not bad at all.

I don't know about you, but the world cup build up has got me jonesing for some soccer cards, and the Panini stuff seems to be sold out everywhere around here.

This was a fantastic deal. Cards arrived today, quite quick shipping.

Here were the results of my 6 packs. I'm thrilled with the results.

I pulled 5 US Men's National Team cards: Tim Howard, Landon Donovan, Clint Dempsey x2, and Johnathan Spector.

Other notable base: Thomas Sorensen, Robert Kovac, Marouane Fellaini, Esteban Cambiasso, Carlos Vela, Niko Kranjcar, Yuri Zhirkov,Giuseppi Rossi, Adriano, Simao

Future Stars: John Fleck, Jack Wilshere, Vladimir Weiss, Dele Adeleye

Ruby Parallels: Essam El Hadary, Austin Ejide, Daniel Agger, Bruno Alves, Alan Hutton, Juan Roman Riquelme, Simon Rolfes, Lukas Podolski

I beat the odds in the first pack with a Heroes of Yaya Toure, and was quite pleased with that.

Then, out of the last pack, popped an even sweeter card:

Legends LEG91 Socrates! Really a beautiful card. 1:50 packs I believe.

The US guys aren't for trade, except the double of Dempsey. The rest are available, but contact me soon or I may plug the codes in online.

Liked the Gamst Pedersen MotM and the Nelsen Club Captain in your bucket.

I really have no clue on the values for some of these. Happy to take any US men's team cards or Blackburn Rovers

Sure, I'll take a picture of the Socrates at some point in the next couple days.

I'd be happy to swap Podolski and Dempsey for the Rovers cards bud, just create a transaction and PM me the details of mailing across the pond.
