Please tell me what i wanna know.

Currently I am hosting three predict three contest weekly for each major sport...

I have a College Bowl Prediction contest coming up..

An NFL Playoff contest coming up

Another NHL Hat trick Shootout after Xmas

What do you like for contests?
Are the Predict 3 contests too hard?
How would you run a contest?
Are the prizes generating interests or is it just because its free?
Do you like the serial # guess contests?

Give me some ideas... The college Bowl predictor is already done and planned 10 bowl games predictions to win..

NFL Playoffs, Im looking for something Unique maybe with both players and teams...im not sure...

Please post some of your ideas here.. doesnt have to be sport specific just general ideas to get the pot stirring so to speak...

i think 3 is too many, i like to keep things simple 1 or 2 and not 2 or 3 things each, sorry my thoughts are some are to hard so i dont enter

Not every contest has to be easy. I like the decent mix of guess the numbers, predict this or that, etc.

Bottom line - contests are fun!!

sure dd316 would say that after winning my contest. Well I guess its not cause they are free or more people would enter. I hate your predict 3 contests! I never win! So stop it! I do however think you should mix them up. A predict 3 which is hard, then a guess the number which is luck and maybe something along the lines of what kharmon is doing which goes from hard to easy. As long as you don't run a bunch of contests where no one is winning. Not all contests have to give something away. But in the same sense if people don't think they have a shot why play at all! My last 2 contests anyone could have won had theyput in the time to look for the answers! You didn't have to know anything about movies to win but how to use a computer. But we all have our different ways to do contests so they all even out I believe. If you want to do a nba contest getwith me and I'll help out with a prize or two!

So the general concensus is that the Predict 3's are too hard or you'd rather have a guaranteed winner every week...

I kind of think the football prize is kind of fun watching it roll over..

Im getting ready for the football playoffs...

One of my ideas was similar to hockey shutout contest..

Put your name in the hat and we'll draw a team and a player... most points scored wins... or something like that..

I don't mind the rollover contetsts. They are fun and what would you rather win one card or a package after a couple of weeks went by without a winner!

I just like to see different contests being run not so much 5 of the same kind.

Im going to change NBA after first of year.. to weekly player lottery...

I dont care much for the dual game predict 3 format either...

NHL contest is going to end soon in its format..

NFL predict 3 ends with I hope a better format for the playoffs....

Here was one example from a friend...

Make your own Predict 3..
Have each member send you three guesses about a certain playoff game of their choosing..

for example he said

Manning would have 2 TD passes
bettis would rush for 94 yards
No team will score a defensive or S/T TD

Of course he wouldve lost but at least it was visionary...

what do you think of that idea...

or a 3 game parlay...

have contestants pick three winners from weekend action... any three!
Tiebreaker is total points of those three teams!!

Pretty freaking hard if you ask me.. but sounds Fun...What about those ideas?
