Highly doubtful according to both sides, I really wouldn't see an advantage doing this but it would be interesting

Fun to talk about a bit but I cannot see any way either team would do it. The Phillies maybe because hey its Albert but 1 for 1.. I cannot see St Louis doing it unless it ever came down to paying Howard like 17-20 a year and Albert like 28-30 and they just could not afford to keep Albert... I am not a Cardinals fan but I would sure like to see him start and do his whole career there. He is going to be one of the greatest of all time when it is said and done.

i think it would work out for the Cards as Howard is younger and from St. Louis and may sign for a hometown discount but deal doesn't sound like its going to happen

I voted Phillies, nobody shifts on Pujols he just gets walked the fear factor definitely goes to Pujols. Bases loaded just give em a run, they pitch to the Stikeout king, LOL.

Thats why Pujols is the man in MLB.

Albert Pujols is the best baseball player of the past 50 years. Of course it would be better for the Phils because they're getting a much better player.

I think the Phillies would easily be getting the better deal. That's not a knock on Howard either because he is one of the best in the game right now, but pujols is the best. I could see why some would say that age could be a factor but honestly Pujols has too much left to worry about that now.

I collect rookie cards. Please check my list to see if you have anything I need.

I am looking for Don Mattingly cards that I don't have. Base, Inserts, Patches, maybe GU or Autos.

Both teams would get a good deal out of this, Phills would get a better overall player but pay a lot more for it, and the Cards would have a couple more years out of a player and he would be about $5 million less a year I would think.
