2005-06 Beckett Football Card Price Guide Format:
1. Table of Content is ONE page!!! Cards are broken down into NFL, Draft Picks, Collecge and Canadian.
2. Sets are listed by Set name 1st and Year 2nd.
3. Each page is FIVE columns and includes BOTH a Nrmt Condition Book Value (BV) and an Excellent Condition BV.
4. Many sets come with a black/white photo of the front of the card , while other sets have front AND back photos.
5. ALL base sets and most inserts sets have general information about them. Sometimes there are insert ratios, production runs, pack pricing, etc.

Pros:
1. Collecting Information (known as Collecting 101) is EIGHT pages and worth a read as it goes into "how to determine condition" of a card.
2. Although still spotty on some sets, the small write ups are more detailed than their TUFF STUFF counterparts. This gives you a better idea of where the cards was released (Hobby vs Retail), insertion odds, etc.
3. Includes more "oddball" sets pricing/listings like 1993 Action Packed Mint Parallel (an addition from the last years Price Guide) and 2001-2003 Beckett Magazine Playoff Inserts.
4. Two sets of prices especially useful for "vintage" cards that AREN'T Nrmt.

Cons:
1. Table of content isn't helpful in finding a set. For example:
A) If you are looking for 1981 Topps, it won't be listed. All Topps Cards from 1950 - present fall under the heading of "1950 Topps Flet Backs"!!! What?!?
2. Beckett arbitrarily seperates sets from the main Card Company name. For example:
A) Playoff Absolute/Absolute Memorabilia is listed as "Absolute", but Playoff Contenders is still "Playoff Contenders".
B ) Pacific Brand cards are hard to find sometimes when Aurora, Crown Royale, Titanium, Vanguard etc are sperated from the "Pacific" group. Also Pacific Atomic is known as Prism Atomic, but the card fronts don't say "Prism"??? Confusing!!!
2. No pricing for a BOX of cards, just individual pricing.

Overall, I would give this a 3.25 STARS out of 5 STARS. Although I dislike how Sets are listed and it's $5 more, the mini Set descriptions are extremely helpful in understanding the cards.
I reccommend this one as it's more complete and informative than TUFF STUFF's Annual. That's my 2 cents! I got mine for $24 delivered.
