Well, he has done this in the past (when he played for Juventus five years ago he did the same to Kreintz and several other occassions)...either way, after what he did yesterday he lost all respect I had for him... I am glad the Azzurri won.

Well, such behaviour is a red card and he is known to do this kind of stuff. I forogt to mention once that he stomped on an opposing player's chest because he was disappointed with a call! Anyways, this does not belong in soccer yet there are penalties for it!

I don't know about the loss of respect.... biting someone's ear, now that loses respect.... but if someone were to wish my family a horrible death and they were right there in front of me, they too would be laid out accordingly.... I am not saying it is totally justified, but you cannot state something like that and not expect to get punched in the mouth (which is what he may have wanted to entice ZZ to get the red card)

I still think you have to look at his entire performance throughout the Cup and decide based off of that which is what the committee did....


Even though Tyson bit Holyfield's ear and lost a lot of my respect, I still think he will always be one of the most memorable fighters for shear force of all time...He dominated the sport for years and when he lost his edge, he did whatever he could to gain back the advantage...
