First of all, wouldn't someone actually have to watch MSNBC to miss him? I'm sure someone will miss him. Where's he going? Air America? Oh...NVM.

Who?

"Baseball players will take anything. If you had a pill that would guarantee a pitcher 20 wins but might take five years off his life, he'd take it" MLB pitcher Jim Bouton about drug use in the Major Leagues... quoted in 1969.

I'd actually lke to see his T206
collection even more. He is reported to
have one of the most extensive (all
524 cards) on the planet.

He was horrible on NBC's Sunday night football. He was knowledgeable but painful to listen to - worse than Costas if that's possible.

I enjoyed his ESPN commentary but, I would not want him as a live game announcer. On that note, Gruden and Jaworski should be replaced in the booth as well IMHO.

I liked him on ESPN. I agree that neither he nor Costas should be doing live commentary, though.

I'll miss him... But, I am consoled by the fact that Maddow is still on the air. I have an unnecessary and embarrassing crush on that woman. Yes, I do know she's playing for the other team.

Keith could be an idiot and a loudmouth, but then... which pundit isn't?

I don't think all pundits are idiots. Most are loudmouths though. That's for sure. The speculation is Comcast kicked him out once they merged with NBC. He's known for being difficult to work with. I wouldn't be surprised to see them eliminate MSNBC totally. It's a numbers thing. He may have had one of the highest rated shows on the network but that's not really saying much when compared to Fox and CNN.
(I think Maddow's cute too. Don't tell my wife. I'd be on the couch for a month.)

No, I have to agree and say Gruden is the worst. I almost had to turn mute on during several Jets games this year because of him. I just pray he gets back into coaching, I liked him as a coach.
