QUOTE(aceecards @ Jan 6 2006, 08:34 PM) I went to add these UD Portraits Basketball and guess what .... They werent there.... tongue.gif laugh.gif Again...this is a joke.... yaah .. after catching up on the backlog (a few months worth of work) .. there will always be the collector that want's a checklist for tomorrow's set yesterday ... and we'll have to live with it. (or just send out a hit squad to get these collectors ) we will hopefully be in a good position to at least attempt it .. but hey .. if the product hasn't shiped and the company hasn't given an advanced release of the checklist .. it becomes beg, borrow and steal time - fun when we get to that point. Stay tuned.

QUOTE Understood. Although, that's only a data issue at the moment - not a limitation of the database/system. Click here to see an example page where you'll see that every card can have a Player/Character and Team tied to it. wink.gif
It's coming
VERY NICE!! That will help alot when a person has Current players for team X, or player X only in team x's Uni...Awesome!
My almost updated trade+ site. Looking for Vintage all sports, and nice pieces from teams below PM/email with any offers. Thank You. Also 1990 Topps, and 2003 old logo. Call someone a dodee buttt in the heat of a debate, banhammer, trying with all your might to pass fakes, or what amounts to fraud..Eh, give em a break, he made a mistake??!!??

QUOTE(jaderock @ Jan 15 2006, 01:32 AM) Bob - your going to beat all the other forums in what this site has to offer. Awesome add ons. Thanks for the feedback. OpenChecklist is going to be a very powerful tool as we continue to develop it and add data. However, you can already begin to understand the new way that trading will be done! Most collectors will prefer to let the software find cards for them rather than spend hours and hours sifting through web sites looking for cards. QUOTE(jaderock @ Jan 15 2006, 01:32 AM) I can't figure out how to do the wanlist and stuff. To add items to your Interests, Want List or Inventory, simply go to those items by either browsing or searching. Then, you'll find options to add those items. For example, you can use the Update link in the My Interest area or you can use the checkboxes and the Add button for cards within a set. -Bob

Well... Why? I sometimes save the picture as something and put my photo manager because it remind me of something. I don't put those to sell, I promise. LoL... Anyway, I only copied one picture and its pretty cool and I put my picture folder too. To Remind me something. Well, if you lock that picture, i'll be a little disappiotment! Anyway, that's sound fine though. OKay, i'll let ya'll go, sorry, lol.

QUOTE(jaderock @ Jan 15 2006, 09:44 AM) I submitted a pic for a Jerry Rice redemption piece and seriously wouldn't mind loaning all of my Brunell pics if needed. However, can you guys put a "property of OpenChecklist" or "TCC.com" over the pics -- I would just hate it for thieves/scammers steal pics and then auction off stuff they don't have. Let me know I'm working out ways for OpenChecklist to host images .. wither 1) Collectors Scan in cards from their collection - and if OpenChecklist doesn't have a version yet, allow Openchecklist to use theirs. 2) have a central hosted collection of images (researched, purchased, and home scanned)... with the images .. the images of cards are the rights of the card company, players associations, etc so they won't be ownership issues. Images for the site are just for reference .. .. the effort to get a good scan of your card in is another story .. and that's what I think you are mentioning. Also the potential of an Ebay scam artist to set up an auction with cards that you scanned . ... you can't do much about that. If you scan it and put it on line somewhere .. its almost open season. Not only for the small time collector or the Ebay scanner .. Companies like Google, Alexa (owned by amazon.com), MSN (Microsoft) have rooms full of servers scanning the Internet and taking a copy of every picture. some ways to get around it is a "watermark" in an image .. some sightly visible text or a blurb across is saying "scanned for OpenChecklist.com" which is hard to remove .. but probably easy if you know how. Its a tricky issue ...

QUOTE(CodyJohnson117 @ Jan 15 2006, 06:35 AM) But... I don't see any Price on it. I was looking almost every different card and there is the word "n/a" of the price for the cards! I think ya'll still working on it. OH Well, sound fine. Keep Working! HaHa.. Cody J. § EDIT ~ Yeah Book Value, that's what it called... Yeah, sorry, lol. the "n/a" was just because you weren't logged it .. those sections will allow you to add the card to your inventory and checklist if you were .. going back to the "missing prices" ... this is a big culture change in the trading card industry. people want to instanly see a checklist with something called a "book value" next to it. you can get a "price" on most things in OpenChecklist and look at the current calue. for every card or set, there is an "ebay" link .. which will do a instant search of ebay and bring the results back to OpenChecklist. If someone else is listing the Item, you can see how much buyers on Ebay are bidding for it. that way .. if you were planning to list yours .. that is how mch you should expect to get. and we're thinking of more integrations to draw in prices based on the current market/supply and demand. Instead just a made up and published "book" value .. of which ones created by the major suppliers (e.g. Beckett) seem over inflated, out of touch with reality and slow to respond to changing markets. hope that helps and stick with us ..
