In Basketball 1986-87 & before
In Football 1981 & before.

Oh man, you're making me feel older than I really am. I don't think there are "high-end" vintage cards. You probably mean vintage star cards or maybe "investment-grade" (NM or better) vintage cards, yes?

Yes that's it. I've got a friend who has a Peterson Threads Letterman and he wants to trade it to me for vintage stuff, such as a few of the cards listed in my post above.
