Anyone else have a Julio Franco Autograph

Posted by: 1st40/40 Oct 31 2007, 10:22 AM

my cousin has a Julio Franco autographed bat.. he caught the homerun in San Diego last year that made Julio the oldest to homer in majors history. funny thing was he was on vacation and decided to see if tickets were available to the game and they had to UPS the bat home since it couldn't be taken on the plane.

That's a pretty cool story. Julio is a good guy, and fun to watch. My favorite memory is when he booted the ball that knocked Nolan Ryan out of his attempt to pitch a complete game for his 300th win. Then he came back later and hit a Grand Slam.
