It's been announced that TNA Wrestling will be doing a three-hour live show on 1/4/2010 featuring the return of Hulk Hogan and several other debuts. My feeling is that when WWE and USA find out, they will schedule a three hour Raw for that night, so there is a good chance both sides will go head-to-head from 8-11 p.m. At this point, this is the only Monday show planned but depending on how the ratings go, it could lead to a permanent move.

I should mention that here besides Hogan and Dixie Carter are Eric Bischoff, Jimmy Hart, Ed Leslie and The Nasty Boys.

Bring it on the seniors tour ...

Generally, competition brings on the emergence of new stars...perhaps this can spur the WWE to look hard and deep in letting younger talent shine and standout? The same can be said for TNA, but with the influx of the "80s" it'll be really hard to focus on the "originals" (Styles, X divison,stc).

That said, TNA's Knockout Division will continue to be the weekly highlight of both shows.

might be a flip back and forth competition. but its hard to compete with RAW.

Wow...not sure which ones are actually signed up with TNA with contracts, but Jeff Hardy, Shannon Moore, Ric Flair, Nasty Boys, Scott Hall and Sean Waltman all appeared on TNA today...

oops also forgot: Sean Morley debuted using the Val Venis gimmick and Orlando Jordan

Angelina Love was resigned as well.

This is alot of money thrown around. For Dixie Carter's sake, I pray that this doesn't bankrupt her!

Was hoping for alot more Hitman on Raw,but it was just the opening monologue and confrontation with HBK and confrontation with McMahon in the end. Shoulda watched TNA instead.

i was greatly disappointed in the Raw / hart schtick!

I know we are setting up for some awesome revenge for Bret at Wrestlemania possibly beating Mcmahon 1 on 1 and then putting the screws to DX or shawn Michaels in individual competition?

Who cares its an old beat up story line Vince uses over and over!

I keep saying and keep hoping that the UNDEFEATED schtick works its way back into a program at some time!

btw.. The Hitman is a decrepit old man , the stroke and motorcycle accident have taken its toll on his mobility and there looks to be an ever slight effect of the paralysis caused by the stroke on his left side. Watch his face when he talks and notice the seemingly immobility of his left arm throughout his two stints on the program last night!

TNA had a screwed up finish in the opener, had a good Angle/Styles match and a Kong/Hamada title win. Will watch them on the Thursday replay again.

TNA has a "big" announcement set for this Monday...it is expected that they will announce that they WILL go forward in moving TNA Impact to Monday starting some time in March 2010. This will get interesting...will this revive the wrestling industry where BOTH companies that chances and create new stars OR will this mean the END of another #2 brand?

I'm going to say that if that is the announcement, then there goes the end of TNA, may as well let Vince buy them out now. The same type of people running this brand, as the people who ran WCW. Story lines are heading the same direction. Maybe if they "toured" more, but they don't.

It is qiute scary that the same people can con...or rather convince people that they are the saviors!

TNA released to Variety that starting 3/8 they go 9-11 p.m. on Monday nights against Raw.

They go live alternate weeks and taped on the other week.

Can't see Hogan doing much of anything as he blew out a knee on his most recent Australian tour the 1st day and didn't do much the rest of the tour.
