Well, the"Cardocrat" Presidential nominee has spoken.

Now it's time for the VP's "fantasy" platform . . .

2 years mandatory National Service. This may be U.S. Military/Peace Corp/or any non-profit organization (public/ private) that enhances this planet or its occupants. There will be no deferments, every citizen between the ages of 18 and 35 will fulfill this obligation, regardless of gender, connection(s) or religious tenet.

I fully realize that this is a complete reversal from some of my more Libertarian ideals, nonetheless, we can't afford to have 1% of our population doing the fighting and dying for our freedoms.

The House of Representatives and the United States Senate will be considered 9 to 5 jobs. The members will do the jobs that they were elected to do. This will be enforced by deadlines on required spending bills and liens on members paychecks if these are not met. The members of both Houses will receive Federal Holidays off and two weeks paid vacation per year. Both houses of the legislature will be in session for 52 weeks per year.

Fundraising will become a thing of the past for Representatives in the House and the Senate. Television ads, Online ads, printed and radio ads will be free for the candidates. The printers, broadcasters, and pundits will publish, air and disseminate all political ads out-of-pocket. All political ads will be limited in duration and number of airings per week.

There will be an immediate moratorium on campaign contributions. No individual, corporation or group may supply any candidate with any financial aid. Individuals may contribute up to $5.00 per year/per individual to any political party.

The barbaric practice of Capital Punishment will be abolished at a Federal and State level via Constitutional amendment.

I reserve the right to add, edit and compromise on these tenets of my platform.

Obviously, Steve and I haven't had a lot of time to confer and compromise on our philosophies. We'll iron these thing out
