QUOTE(Bondsaway @ Nov 19 2005, 12:05 AM) better the shining than the firestarter! Linebackermania56 --- probably pretty obvious Im talking about a famous linebacker that wears 56 but honestly the number could be any linebacker. I was in chicago at a National card show with my white NFL log mini helmet and someone asked me what signatures I had on it. At that time I had been to chicago once before, Cinci, Canton, and any other local signing I could hit to chase linebacker autographs. I had Bryan Cox, Brian Urlacher, Mike Singletary, Willie Lanier, Dave wilcox, Dick Butkus, Jr. Seau, Ray Lewis and Bobby Bell signatures all on that mini ... someone said that is a SICK helmet and I explained to him it was a crazy obsession, like a MANIA inside... I have since sold the mini for less that what it was worth. So if you have seen It I want it back.... ha ha. sooooo linebackermania was born the next chance I had to create a new ebay account or chat forum. I currently collect shawne merriman. .... I missed the chance to get Ted Hendricks on it because he was drinking at the bar instead of coming to the Topps Hall of Fame signings they did back in the day. He was scheduled and did a later signing at one of rawlings tents but I didnt hear about it until he was gone!!!

I never really saw this post before, it always jsut kidn of slipped my attention. There is a reason why I have my name as JayDoublez though. In fact people still call me that sometimes. It originally came from high school though. My names Joe and people would call me J you know as short for joe. It was like that almost all through high school especially on the football team. These guys were always calling me jay, so one day I remember someone said it again, and this time I said doublez (yes spelled my way lol) everybody looked at me and said what? I just smiled and repeated myself. When everyone asked me what it meant, I said the doublez stands for the fact, that no matter what in life, aim going to try and be 2 times better than you, iam going to try 2 times harder than you, iam always goign to give 2 times the effort of anyone else, hence the doublez. JayDoublez . There now you all know there was something behind it.

stormfan7--Simple really... Storm -- Our College nickname was the 'Storm' (I know, great, huh?...it used to be called the Redmen.) Anyways, I have graduated, so I am just a fan now Even though I was an assistant basketball coach my first year afterwards... The 7 is just a lucky number, I guess. Even though I have never worn the number...high school, I wore 34 (3+4) for basketball, 25 (2+5) for football, and number 17 for college baseball (7 was taken already). I do weird things with the number 7 as well...I will set my alarm for: 7:07 or 7:43. If I need to cook something for 12 minutes, it will be 12:04. And all of my Ebay bids are usually in multiples of 7 as well. $7.77, $11.05, $16.77, etc. Yes, it's weird...I know...
